Well!
Again, this book was just another one hell of a ride! It was quite the emotional roller coaster and at the same time a safe haven for me whenever I felt I wanted to be in a calmer situation...
And <One Beat> gave me that. And I'm hoping it did for you, too!
Also, of course, it would only be appropriate for me to write an Explanations Sections for this book (or rather just a few facts that may have been overlooked or could be easily misinterpreted in the story of this book), and that's why this chapter exists!
Before I jump into the explanations, however, I would just like to thank you all readers for taking your time to read this, for waiting for the updates, even during that time that my updates have suddenly become irregular with no explanation given at all...
Thank you so much for your love and support!
And now! The explanations!

Idea Formation on One Beat
~Get this:
"One Beat" was actually an idea formed since 2020, around the beginning of my time on Wattpad (Surprise?!?).
Not to mention, <One Beat> was even actually the first idea I had for a Stray Kids fanfiction!
Though, to be fair, at the time, I had barely even written the storyline, and all I had was the concept of "same song, same destiny". Looking at it now, what this book had turned into is SO far from what it had originally started as.
In fact, the original storyline was actually more simpler, with Jisung and Y/N being in the same school and in the same class, but what soon brings them together is their devices uncannily playing the same exact songs at the same time.
However, as my other book <See You In My Dreams> was coming to an end, that was the time when I suddenly got the perfect idea I needed to form a better "One Beat".
Fast forward to planning, and I ended up rewriting the whole story plot and changing the main theme, from "destiny (and all that stuff)" to "young love".
And to further emphasize the fact that the two MCs might be fated, I decided on them being complete strangers to each other, coming from completely different school and from different areas, only having met each other on one fateful day when both decided to skip classes on the exact same day.
And thus, One Beat was formed!

Character Isolation
~My new favorite narration method!
Easily done when planned in a broad sense, but hard to write due to hidden and complex concepts. Which in this case, is the perks and quirks of young love, maturing, finding yourself, and finding that one special person in your life all in one!
To further explain, "character isolation" is what I like to call a narration method wherein I focus on the two main characters only by writing the story in the perspective of one or both of the characters and rarely (if not never) giving focus to the other "outside characters".
Basically, my goal in isolating the MCs in a book is to create a deeper connection between the readers and the characters and also to show what goes on in their minds and how they think and how they react to certain things. At the same time, I can also make it easier for the readers to get attached to the characters so y'all would cry when something sad happens (heh).
