"Ack!"
I lie back down on the sand, stretching my arms upwards.
Ugh, I feel tired.
At the end of the sea, the sun is close to fully setting, and the sky had already turned a mixture of rich orange and slightly-dark blue. There are seagulls flying by, and I watch them pass by until my eyes land on the boy sitting beside me on the sand.
Jisung laughs, later on looking at me teasingly. "You're tired, already? We've only been running around the beach for a few hour- Blegh! Hey!"
He stops when I grab a fistful of sand before throwing it at him, and I laugh at his reaction. "I guess you can handle running around from morning to sunset, then?" I ask him challengingly still lying down on the sand as I look at him.
He just finishes patting off the sand from his face and clothes before he gives me an annoyed look. "And I'm guessing you aren't actually tired yet?"
Quickly, I sit up and look towards him with a mischievous smile. "Try me." And with that, I throw another fistful of sand at him, this time landing onto his chest and getting on his uniform.
"Hey!" he shouts as he looks at his uniform then back at me with wide eyes.
I quickly stand up and start running again, trying to get as far from him as possible as he stands up while grabbing a fistful of sand as well.
"Hey! That's unfair! Let me get some sand on you, too!" he shouts.
I respond by sticking my tongue out. "Why won't you try catching me first?!" I shout back, then I laugh as I continue running as Jisung continues shouting after me.
"Hey! Hey!"
Then, I feel a tug on my collar.
Suddenly, I shriek when I feel a grip around my waist, and I turn my head to see that Jisung had grabbed me, trying to keep me from running further. His eyes are closed tight as if to keep my hair from piercing them, and as we slow down and I realize our position, I feel heat rising up my cheeks.
Eventually, we just stand there in that position, and I look down shyly, my hands gripping his wrists and aligning with his arms. "Uhm... Jisung?"
"What?" he asks, sounding clueless.
With an irritated tone, I turn to him and elbow him in the chest. "You're holding me, idiot," I tell him harshly as he releases a pained sound as he moves back and lets go of me.
"O-Ow?! You're the one who was running from me, though?!" he then retorts, looking at me accusingly.
"Still!" I respond, but I don't continue as I don't really know what to say. I just end up grunting as I kick sand towards him, and he shouts at me with wide eyes again.
"Hey!" And he returns the gesture by kicking sand towards me as well.
I block it from going to my face with my hands, but they still get onto my uniform. I gasp as I look down on it, then suddenly, I hear Jisung laughing again.
"Finally!"
I just look back at him with a frown. "Ugh! You're such an idiot!" I eventually exclaim with an eye roll, only getting an eye-smiled laugh from Jisung as a response. I look at him, then, seeing that his smile hasn't even faded at all even after a few seconds, I roll my eyes again and smile as well as I sit back down on the sand.
He quickly sits beside me as we both face the horizon.
"By the way," he then asks after a while, and I look towards him again. "How did you even get my name?" He furrows his brows, then he looks towards me with his brow raised mischievously. "I mean, I don't remember telling you, so could that mean that you actually are a spy?"
