My alarm went off at 6AM and at first I dreaded getting up but realized what today was and shot myself up and heading to shower and get ready. an hour later I was finally ready and decided to take my luggage downstairs knowing Josh and the boys are out for a football practice. I made my way to the kitchen to get a drink and something to eat when Simon walked in. 

"hey cutie" Simon said as he made his way over to me.

"I thought you'd be at the field with the boys for another hour" I asked turning around to face him

"I was but Josh already knew that I was leaving for holiday, so I was able to leave early" Simon said and I was taken back because it made me realize what am I suppose to tell josh about where I'm going.

"he knows?" I asked and Simon shook his head.

"I never told Josh I was leaving, we never got to that part" I said thinking how the hell am I gonna get away with this.

"well you told me your technically seeing someone right" Simon said and I shook my head.

"well just text him your going away with that person for the holidays" Simon said and I actually thought that was a good idea and I got my phone out and texted Josh.

L: going out for the holidays with a special someone, won't be back till the 2nd, love you.

I figured he wouldn't answer right away since he was busy as always but I ate my food with Simon and we both realized it was 7:45 and we had to get going.

"alright we got to go, get your stuff and lets head out" Simon stated and I gathered my things in the living room and headed to the Uber Simon called for us. We put our stuff in the trunk and entered the car and basically sat on our phone till we arrived at the airport.

"so are you gonna tell me where we're going for the holidays" I asked Simon as we made our way in the airport heading to security.

"you'll see after we find a seat and sit down until how flight is called" Simon said and it made me curious on where he could be taking me. We made our way through security and found two seats near our gate and waiting for our plane to start boarding.

"okay so we got about another hour till we board I'm gonna go get snacks and something to drink want anything" Simon asked as he got up from his seat.

"no I'm good but thank you" I said and he walked off and that's when my phone dinged and I opened it and it was Josh

Lexy you can't just go away with someone I've never met, but Sis you better be safe and get home safe.

As I read that message it made me feel guilty for lying but I had no other choice apparently my best friend can't handle my happiness and it would kill Josh so I put my phone and I was interrupted by Simon sitting down next to me.

"you good" He asked and I shook my head, when they called us for boarding and made our way to the plane and took our seats and spent the next 10 hours in a plane to wherever we were going. I took a nap and by time I woke up we were landing and at first I didn't recognize where we were. 

"alright come on because there's gonna be a car waiting for us to pick" Simon said and I was so excited for this trip. We made our way to grab our luggage and headed outside to pick the car up and when we made it outside I realized that we weren't in the UK anymore.

"Simon where are we" I asked and he chuckled at me while opening the door for me. Simon started the car and drove off making out way to our hotel.

"so where are mister surprises" I asked him before turning on the radio.

"what kind of music are we listening to" he laughed while keeping his eyes on the road.

"what you don't like Katy Perry" I turned it up and I kept noticing Simon smiling at me then entire way there, when we we finally arrived I was in shock to see how nice this hotel was, where was Simon getting the money for this.

"Simon where the yell did you get money for this" I asked and he just looked at me and walked inside while I was following him. We got our room key and made our way to the top floor and that's where the suites are. We made our way into the room and I just couldn't believe how beautiful it was, the view was breath taking and what made this all better, is I was here with Simon.

"this is all for you Lexy" He said and I turned around and wrapped my arms around his neck, His hands making their way to my waist

"thank you for all of it" I said and he leaned it and kissed me passionately, pushing my on the bed.

"starting off the trip with a great welcoming to New York Lexy" He said making trails down my neck and I just lost it when he said New York, I cupped his face and pressed my lips against his closing the gap between us, enjoying what was about to happen tonight.
