Friday morning I met up at with Allison and Kayli a little early before class starts, so we are hanging out by our lockers and catching up on recent events.

"I heard people saying that the headmaster has something important to tell us" Kayli stated which left us all curious and excited.

"I wonder what it could be" I said then the boys walked over to us and Lucas threw his arm around Kayli, As Eli did the same to me and everyone smiled at us.

"damn Lexy already moving on" JJ spat at us which made me realize Simon was next to him and he saw Eli's arm around me. All I could see in his eyes were sadness and there was nothing I could do about it but you know, he hurt me so I decided to give him a taste of his own medicine. I put my head on Eli's shoulder and I could see the rage in Simon eyes fill up and he just walked off with JJ following.

"um.. sorry Eli" I said looking at my feet while we stood there in silence for a moment.

"don't be" Eli stated and it made me forget the others were right next to us and they were stood there smiling with their arms crossed.

"um.. so we should get to class" I said as I grabbed the girls arms and walked away.

we walked into English and then it hit me.

"wait Allison your not in this class" I said starting to panic

"girl chill it okay, you have Kayli" Allison said calming me down a little bit.

"guys Eli and Simon are in this class and I completely forgot I'm partnered with him for this project" I said quickly while the girls look at me so confused and start laughing.

"Lex it will be okay I'll be there with you don't worry, but hey I'm paired with JJ so I'm suffering as well" Kayli laugh which made me laugh as well, we said our goodbyes and walked in. We are meant to sit with our partners which meant I had to sit next to Simon and I saw him sitting there not acknowledging anything around, just burred in his phone.

I sat next to him and stayed silent between us, Just then Eli walked in and that made Simon look up then look my way. Apparently Simon didn't like the way I was looking at Eli as he sat next to Ethan because that's when he started talking.

"so should we just get started then, or are you gonna keep looking at your boyfriend" Simon said in low jealousy tone.

"why do you care" I said as I took my book out of my bag.

"I don't I'm just asking so we can get this done" Simon said while not making eye contact anymore

"sure whatever let's just get started" I said and he nodded, so we worked on the assignment for an hour until the bell rang and Simon grabbed his stuff and walked to JJ and Ethan as they headed out the door.

"so was it as bad" Kayli asked as she walked over to me.

"no, it was worse" I said as I put my head on her shoulder

"hey it's all fine, I mean it's just Simon Minter, What would be so special about a guy" Kayli asked and it got me thinking about all the sweet moment we had together, how he was always so kind and gentle with me, That there's no other guy who makes me feel like the way Simon does.

"hello Lexy you still there" Kayli says waving her hand in my face, bringing me out of my thought.

"uh what did you say" I asked confused as she smirked at me

"oh um nothing" she said while still smiling.

"hey girls" Eli said as he walked up to us and I'm hoping he didn't hear our conversation.

"sorry Eli we have to go" I said and dragged Kayli out only to be met by Simon waiting by the lockers.

"can we talk" He said as he walked over to us and I didn't know what to say.

"well I'm gonna go find Lucas, I'll see you at lunch" Kayli said as I tried to give her signs to not leave but she insisted and walked off, leaving me there with Simon.

"can we go for a walk outside" He asked as he held out his hand and right when I was about to take his hand, Josh walked over to us, of all freaking people.

"hey guys what's up" Josh asked us while giving us a weird look.

"nothing we were just talking about this big English project we have, and we're paired up for it" I stated and Josh just shook his head looking back between Simon and I. 

"you guys aren't even in the same year" Josh said and that's when I looked at Simon, giving him a look to help me out.

"trust me bro it's true, or I wouldn't be doing this. Our teachers thought it would be good learning experience for the younger ones" Simon said which made me fill with rage because of what he said, with that I said bye to Josh and walked out, not looking back at Simon.

It was finally lunch time so Kayli, Allison, and I made our way to the cafeteria. The boys were already sitting and waiting for us, so we sat with them and for some reason it was very weird maybe because of what happened between Eli and I but I mean he's my bestfriend, nothing more.

"what's with the weird vibe between everyone" Justin asked while eating his lunch and I quickly looked at Eli then back down at my phone. 

"nothings wrong" Eli said and continued eating, just then "the sidemen" walked in and my eyes shot to Simon as a girl ran up to him and kissed him, I felt like my heart just shattered into a million pieces. He knew I saw it as he looked to me and smirked, I just rolled my eyes and put my attention towards my friends.

"you good Lexy" Allison asked as she put her hand on my shoulder and I nodded that I was fine, but it reality I was hurt, angry, and what I'm pretty sure feels like jealousy. I didn't know what to do with these feelings, I know I shouldn't feel these things but I couldn't help it. I wanted to be the one he kisses, the one he holds, the one he calls his but I know it wont happen just then the Headmaster walked in and everyone attention went towards him.

"good afternoon students, I know everyone curious on what I have to tell you" He started as we all looked at each other, whispering and smiling.

"okay students so I thought it would be a great thing to host a .... School talent show" He said and everyone said screaming and going crazy.

"okay settle down, sign ups are in two weeks and then you have two months to prepare for it, so decide and we can't wait to see what you show us" he said and walked out and everyone continued talking and eating.

"omg I'm so excited, I'm definitely signing up" Allison stated and Kayli agreed.

"the three of us are gonna do a dance routine" Lucas said pointing to Justin and Eli as they laughed but agreed. 

"what about you Lexy" Eli asked and I looked up confused.

"I'm not doing it especially not in front of the entire school" I said and turned my head to catch Simon staring at me and I just took a deep breathe and gave him a little smile as I turned my head and continued talking.
