16 and pain

I got ready put on some scrubs with blue Nike pros  I put on fake eyelashes and do a black wing eyeliner and pull my hair into a tight bun I grab my wallet and drive to my clinic in my blue Honda. I always hook up my phone to my car to listen to Spotify music my phone rings I see its max my assistant I answer she gives me the run down of the  patient she is 16 her boyfriend is max's little brother and his name is Leo he called Max asking for help his girlfriend is in foster care and she has been in serious pain along with severe swelling and normally she would eat pizza with him on lunch break at highschool and he finally convinced clara to come see me. He has asked to be next to her ask she has severe anxiety and feels safest when with leo. I get to the clinic and go through the back and put my stuff in my office and head to the waiting room my eyes immediately shot up at Clara's face she is pale and her cheeks are very red and swollen. I say hi she waves at me while leo tells me she is in alot of pain that's why I'm talking for her . I take her back to the exam room while Clara is holding Leo's hand,walking to the Emergency cases room. I ask Clara to sit in the chair she looks at leo which means Clara wants leo to sit n ext to her so I told max to go grab leo a seat. Clara lays down while holding Leo's hand

I put on a pear of gloves and asked Clara to open her mouth she looks at leo and leo says it hurts to open her mouth so I start to massage her temples then I move to the bottom of her face and rub circles around the masseter muscle every time I would press even the smallest amount of pressure she would moan and and squeeze Leo's hand and stair at him he would rub circles on her hand and thigh after about 5 minutes I ask her honey can you please open your mouth without hurting yourself. She opens her mouth while Leo's hand turns red I use my hand mirror and hand scaler and look at her front teeth and move to the back of her mouth I see severe swelling around her wisdom teeth and her gums around the wisdom teeth.  The bottom wisdom teeth have severe pericoronitis a infection. I say ok honey you can close your mouth I know what's wrong your wisdom teeth are infected and you need them removed asap are you ok with me removing them today?  She nodded her head I told max to go prep the surgery room while max does that I get Benadryl and Valium and give those to clara and ask if leo wants to carry her to the surgery room  they both nod leo carries her to the surgery room and lay her down on the chair and kiss her on the lips. And cover her in a blanket max whispered to leo I'm going to put a iv in her he nods I place a iv in her 4 arm then before I give her more medicine I put a oxygen tube in her nose and then give leo and clara a few minutes
