CHAPTER 5

I DON'T BELIEVE IN MIRACLES BUT YOU PROVED ME WRONG!!!

Akshu just came back from hospital. She decided to visit him the next morning and was about to open the door, when she found that her bracelet was missing. It was the gift that he gifted during her 18th b'day; of of their very precious memories.

"No no no, I can't lose it. Where is it?"

She was sure that it was with her when she came out from the office.

It must be somewhere near the accident spot or maybe in the hospital. I will go and search ; the first thing in the morning.

She thought. She quickly got fresh and opened her phone. There were a tons of messages from maa and she decided to give her a call the next day. She then dialed Aaru's number to inform her that she is back, safely but she didn't answered.

"Must be asleep." With that she went back to her bed.

The next day she got up early. She need to inspect the road first and if it fails , then the next destination is hospital.

Should also pay a visit to that accident boy.

She decided to wake up Aaru and called her but she was not answering.

Strange. She is usually awake by this time.

She knocked on her door but no one answered. Both had a spare key of each other's apartment and Akshu decided to use her spare key and opened her apartment.

As she opened her bedroom , she found an unconscious Aaru there. She rushed to her bedside and touched her forehead. She was having high fever.

She brought wet towels and placed one on her forehead and rubbed the other all over her arms and foot. Sometime later, she opened her eyes.

"Akshu" her voice was very week.

"Aaru, what is this? If you were not feeling well you should have informed me. Do you have any idea how tensed I got when I found you in such a state? You are a having high fever Aaru!!! You instructed me not to wet myself yesterday but you just didn't bothered to obey your own orders. How careless are you?"

"Akshu , Slow down there. Are you planning to give me all the lecture now itself? I will be fine."

"Of course I am not satisfied. Now listen to me loud and clear. I will get you medicines and eat it without any infamous Aaru tantrums. I will prepare you khichdi and chicken soup. By evening the fever will be down and yes, I will give you a sponge bath in lukewarm water and you should drink plenty of hot water. Got it?" Akshu finished with a 'dare you say no' look on her face.

Aaru was amused. It was the first time someone took this much care for her. Now, she felt like she is also important for someone.

"Why do you sound like a pro ,Akshu?

She just smiled.

"And one more thing. I have already informed that you won't be giving classes for the next three days at least. I will also be here with you."

"But Akshu, You.." Akshu cut her down

"No Aaru. No more arguments!"

With that Akshu totally forgot her plan for the day and was with Aaru for the rest few days...

She was smiling at me , those angelic eyes...

Where were you, all these while? He asked

She smiled and started to leave...

"No"... Abhi screamed loudly.

Now what was that? And most importantly, who was that? Those eyes are so familiar.. Yes, it was she, the one who was there that night.

Abhi remembered that night; his accident, and the girl who came there . . . He looked around and saw that he was in the hospital right now.

"Abhi? So you are awake.. How do you feel now?"

"Alive"

"Shut up. You know how tensed I was last night?"

"Who are you? My wife?"

"No. By the way you should thank her. You are fine only because she brought you here in the right time."

"Who?"

"The one who was here last night?"

"Where is she?"

"Ahh.. well she is gone."

"What's her name?"

"I didn't asked"

"Do you have her contact number?"

"Well no.."

"Get lost Neil!"

"Wahoo. . . The great Abhimanyu is so desperate to meet a girl. By the way I thought that she will come back."

Abhi wasn't feeling good , knowing that there are less chances to meet that girl now. Well, why should he care in the first place?

Maybe he should return the favor somehow. He won't take any help from others.

He stayed in hospital for the next few days but she never showed up. It was during these days that he found that a bracelet was struck with his watch, that he got back after the accident.

"A" .

It must be hers. She could have at least come back, looking for this. Now it feels like she never existed.

Shut up Abhi. Neil was so right. You seems to be so desperate to meet her again. Abhi scolded himself mentally. With that Abhi went back to a deep sleep.

It was about a week after that accident and Abhi got discharged. He thought that she will show up but that never happened. He also came to know that she didn't even bothered to take back the money that she paid while admitting him.

Strange. He thought. She doesn't seems to be smitten by his charms.

He got a full on lecture and scolding from Neil's mother who made sure that he took his medicines and food properly. He recovered gradually. Akshu on the other hand took good care of Aaru. There indeed developed a Sister bonding between them and both were happy for this new dimension of relationship in their life.

When Aaru recovered fully both decided to go for a day out in the near by mall.

As they entered the parking area, Akshu got an official call. She instructed Aaru to go inside and start her shopping as she will join her in a while.

Akshu had a talk for 5 to 7 minutes while being inside her car and as she got out and started to move to towards the mall, someone touched her shoulders from behind.

She turned back to see a pair of chocolate brown eyes....
