CHAPTER 21

Abhi and Akshu met again outside and this time she gave him all the documents and belongings that belonged to Akshay, included his letters and gifts that he wrote and received from Aarti. Naira had given it to Akshu who already went through all of them but she couldn't find anything specific from them.

"So you are telling me we won't get anything useful from these things?"

"No Abhi. It's just that . .I couldn't find anything from them. But Akshay was too brilliant. He won't just randomly leave a clue. May be he thought that as long as we had a chance to get those evidences, their enemies also had a similar probability of accessing them."

Abhi let out a sigh.

"May be it's right in front of us Akshu. We just need to look at things from a different angle."

"Yaa. Even in our life, reality will be right in front of us. It's just that we are looking at them from the wrong angle!"

"You feels so? That our inner realities can be different?"

"May be. I just want things to be different."

Abhi stared right into her eyes. She felt like his gaze is piercing right into her soul.

I wish if our reality had been different Akshu. I don't want to think of a life where you are not a part of my  soul. . .

There used to be a time, I just wanted to shut myself from this world Abhi; but now, I just want my world to be with me all the time . . .Because now, my day starts with you and my dreams are filled with you . . .You are slowly becoming my whole world Abhi!

"Akshu?"

"Hmm . ."

"Nothing! I just wanted to ask . ."

"Ask?" she said curiously.

"Will Naira aunty like me? I mean as your friend?"

Akshu smiled slowly.

"Her daughter likes you; she will also like!"

"And . .does she like chocolate?"

"Ha . .in fact chocolate cake with Vanilla ice cream is her cheat food!"

"Like mother like daughter. I still remember the taste of the chocolate cake you made on my b'day!"

She smiled at his words.

"Come let's go. It's going to rain soon I think."

He nodded and both of them started moving towards the parking area. He was about to get into the driving seat when he felt a hand on his shoulder. Akshu too stopped on her way and turned back to see someone staring at Abhi.

"Neevan Bhai! What a great surprise!"

Neevan was staring at Abhimanyu but soon his attention shifted to the girl standing next to him.

"When did you came back to India?"

"Ha? Yesterday. By the way, this is Akshara right?"

Akshara was amused by the person standing with her Abhi. 

How do he know her name?

"Yaa. But you know her before?" 

"Yes. You don't remember me Akshara?"

"Hmm . . I am sorry but I don't."

She tried to be honest with the person who was standing opposite to her; whoever it is.
