"So what's up bro?" Abhi asked Neil as soon as he came back from his 'date'
"All good!"
"Yaa. I can see that. Love is in air. . . "
"Abhi, is it really you?"
"Ha?"
"I mean, you are talking so casually! Like after so many years."
"Ya. Just some good things started happening around me."
"Same here. Aaru is really sweet." Neil said out of the blue, in a dreamy voice.
"So, you guys are serious?"
Neil nodded.
"After that party night, I don't know why but I felt like knowing more about her. Initially she didn't wanted to share anything with me but slowly we talked to each other about our lives; then I came to know that she is a really brave girl- I can't exactly say how and when I started loving her but when I did, I shared it with her.
But to my surprise even she confessed her feelings for me. I badly missed her when she went to Delhi and when she came back, I felt like my oxygen is back. Even Aaru was not having a good mood, staying away from Akshu and me. She told me that the only thing that was keeping her happy there was Akshu's mother."
Abhi had never witnessed this face of Neil. This was the first time he got serious with his feelings.
"You guys will be a great couple."
"I know. By the by, what's going on between you and Akshu?"
Abhi went silent immediately.
"You like her?"
Abhi turned his face away from Neil.
"Are you afraid that history will repeat itself? C'mon Abhi it was good thing that you guys never ended up together back in college."
"History won't repeat itself because my Akshu is not like that cheater Maya!" Abhi's voice actually gave a shock to Neil. In fact this time, Abhi was furiously screaming!
"This time I am sure about my decision. I know very well how my Akshu is! She won't think twice before putting herself in danger for saving someone else. She won't hesitate to help the people around her. She know how to make people happy. I was behind her for the past few months just to find out one wrong thing with her just because I don't wanted myself to fall in love again.
But Akshu, she was far beyond all my expectations. Each time I observed her secretly, be it be in her academy or her home or anywhere else for that matter, she proved that she is an angel. She proved me wrong; she showed me that selfless love exist in this greedy world. I wanted to dislike her but instead she made me fall for her.
She is not a gold-digger like that Maya. She is not a two timer. She will not go behind money, cheating her loved ones!"
