CHAPTER 20

Akshu and Abhi was collecting the baggage after landing Delhi. 

"Abhi are you sure that you wanna stay in your guest house? Come with me na . Let's stay at my place. Maa will be happy to see you."

"It's okay Akshu. I will . ."

"Abhimanyu? Abhimanyu Birla right?" A girl around 20's came to their side and asked in her most excited tone.

He nodded with a serious expression.

"Sir, I have watched all your interviews. Omg, literally this is a fan girl moment for me."

Akshu, who was watching both of them, somehow didn't liked her interaction with Abhi. She was constantly talking to Abhi who was listening to her with a cold expression. It was then she noticed Akshu who was standing next to Abhi.

"Sir, who is she?"

They looked at each other.

"Oh, I got it. She is your secretary. Right sir?"

"No. She is my would-be wife and if you are done, we are in a hurry."

She was shocked for a moment and then nodded her head in an uncomfortable way. As she left he turned to Akshu's side.

"Akshu, I am sorry but. . "

"It's okay Abhi. Even I was getting pissed and was gonna say the same thing to that fan girl."

Saying this she started walking to the exit side.

What? Even Akshu was pissed off from that girl? But why?

Good job Abhi. You must shoo away all such fan girls. I don't like you talking all lovey-dovey to someone else. That doesn't go with your personality. She said inside her mind with a small smile on her face.

And why is she smiling like that now?

He didn't had any idea what was going inside her mind.

As they came out Abhi's driver was waiting for them. Abhi decided to drop her at her home and told her to meet at evening to discuss about Akshay.

"I will come by 5 Abhi. Is that fine?"

"Yaa sure. I will try to collect as much details as I can by then."

"So you wanna say something with me Akshu?" Naira asked her with folded hands as she was unpacking.

"Hmm . . .no. What happened maa?"

"Don't try to fool me. You just left Delhi and now you are back again within no time and also who is this Abhimanyu?"

"So, Aaru told you? Well, Abhimanyu or Abhi as we call him, is my friend and also a great businessman."

Akshu looked at Naira not sure what to say next.

"I am listening Akshu."

"And now since he wants to expand his business here, he is looking for some contacts and I am here to . . . help him."

"So he who as you say is a great businessman wants help from you?"

"Maa . ." Naira looked at the pouting face of her daughter.

"Look Akshu. I know you are hiding something from me but I am letting it go now. But make sure that you will say the same to me when it is the right time. And also when I fell in love with your father, I didn't felt like hiding it from your Nani and nanu even for one second. The same goes for you too. For me, nothing is more important than my children's happiness."
