CHAPTER 6

Wonder POV

"Dad , it's delicious mmm.." I moaned at the taste of chocolate pancake he prepared  " You always say that ! " He said laughing " Dad I am serious this...is.. chocolate heaven, You still have time to  change your profession, Who knows the next big chef is you ? Hmmm? What do you say?" I wiggled my eyebrows at him and he smacked my head lovingly with a kitchen towel " Daddd...!!". " Don't yell at me and get ready if you want that job ".

I have waited a long two weeks for this thing...the final  interview. It was suppose to be last week but due to some reason they postponed it today but it was in my best interest as Auntie  suspected I'm suffering from temporary anemia now...weakness is all I felt for past weeks, all I did was sleep and eat...

Dad shifted to  dadabear mode which is scary for others and definitely too much loving for me, here love means stuffing me to the brim , yeah it's a bit scary for me too...I couldn't even prepare for the interview properly , just some details on their finances and that's all,this chaos helped in taking off my mind from fallen angel it's been two weeks since I last saw him...but his eyes seem to find a way in my head everynight...

" Hey !! Get up you lazy ass " Amara yelled out from the front porch entering the kitchen." You are not even dressed?? Have you lost it , you have final interview with the head  manager of The Sokolov Corporation and here you are enjoying pancakes, Did you even prepared yourself ?" She asked tapping her foot with hands on hip...

" Of course...not ". She took my plate and start eating " You did not!?...mmm this is good ... honestly I am not worried about you, hell only 10 people are selected for it out of so many people but I know you're the ...what do you add in this thing?? ... Yeah so where were we.."."Amara, why don't you just enjoy MY breakfast and leave the pep talk ". She showed me her tongue and dad pushed me out of kitchen" Come on sweetheart, go take your medicines and get ready , I know you'll rock " dad tried to wink but failed miserably" Hahaha, dad don't do that again ". He pouted " Amara is right, you can be really mean " he said " I know right she can be Queen     mean". She said her mouth full of my pancakes, I know they are trying to pull my leg  shook my head at them laughing and left them to their antics .

"You took your medicines? " dad asked  " Yes dad I took everything that includes medicines too,  now please give me good luck kiss , so that I can go ". I'm sitting in my car and Dad and Amara being fussy about everything.   " Hey , you don't even know how Armen and Dave looks like how will you ask for a autograph for me ?? " Seriously?? " Idiot " I muttered and dad kissed my cheeks " You'll do great but don't get disheartened of you don't get it , it's their loss , okay?? " I smiled at dad he always encourages me
"Okay" I said smiling and Amara gave me a thumbs up and said " Go Win them Won and you are a idiot! don't think I didn't listened that muttering ". I looked at her guilty and  with that I drived out of my porch waving at my dad and Amara . They are the best... ****
"Oh my this is beautiful " I stood in front of the Dave cooperation after 2 hour drive , it's a long way here but the building is out of the world, I almost have to bent back for taking in this exalted building, it's... amazing.
After admiring the building for whole 5 minutes, I finally entered and it was even more sublime inside I had to force my gaze away with this beauty  and ask the receptionist,about the interview  she was a around mid forty and sweet looking lady" Oh yes,on 39 th floor dear , all the best!". She said sweetly." Thankyou have a good day Miss Laura" She smiled kindly at me saying "You too dear" and went back to her work, I went in the lift and have given up on describing this place beauty by now who has a mirror in lift, this can  be a tourist place that's all I have to say.
