"Ohnono!!Grinch will have my head!" I was really late well not technically I'm still earlier than anybody else but late than usual...if the Grinch got there first he'll be like the red queen of Alice in Wonderland saying 'Minions Off with her head! ".
Well only he is responsible for it , I slept late thinking about everything although I was so tired after the whole awesome Sunday which I couldn't even tell dad about....all... because I am late!!
" Good morning Wonder". John said cutting my thoughts with the same warm smile he offers me every morning, how can I ignore that even if I'm late as hell, he's a security guard here and works really well do not get me started on his looks, he can be a model.I rest my case here..." Morning John , Umm...is the Grinch here yet?" Yes everybody in the company knows by now that I call him the Grinch , they are very sweet to not tell him any of this .
" Haha, You are just on time don't worry , he will be here in few minutes though" I ran past him " Careful sweets!!". Waving him off , I sprinted to my seat, it's a good thing that I wear sneakers.
Taking a heavy breath and opening my laptop, spreading some sheets on table I took a huge chunk of water from my bottle" uff!!", I'm not good at this sporty things. Few minutes have passed, he's still not here...
I have started working on some accounts of his , it's not easy to manage them , he is continuously donating in different schemes for kids , hospitals and schools not uttering single word about it , I don't think even Dave know about it... media never mentions all of this in news...they always want spicy and hot topic so much that they only point out negative aspects of a person, I want to slap that reporter who once called him a selfish bastard , he is a selfish person in certain things but he's a great person all total , he maybe a Grinch on outside still a good soul on the inside.
I heard a cough and I looked up to see a beautiful creation, I can't help the smile that covers my face and paced up beating of my heart whenever I look at him especially after realising that I love him " Mr. Sokolov, You are early". I had to say something, it I who was late he was just on time still he scared me a bit when he came in front of me in two long strides and made me stand up taking my elbows in his hands , HE KNOWS, HE KNOWS I WAS LATE!!!
" Hey!!What are you doing ?". I asked him trying to control my voice " Shut up" He said sternly the same voice Dave use when he means no more discussion. He took my chin in his hands and forced me to look in his silver lights, the orbs were different, good different they were softer, he was thinking about something really hard the intensity is so strong that I can't look away , my heart is beating so loud in my chest that I'm afraid he'll hear it he wasn't looking at me like he wants to slaughter me it was so much more different, despite all that there was another sort of hurt in his eyes , What exactly happened to him to have such swirls of emotions in his eyes " Are you okay Mr.Sokolov?" I could see his eyes falling on my lips , he wasn't drunk was he ??, noooo...he isn't, I can't smell anything... "Armen".
Huhh?? What's he talking about "What??". I asked him confused" Call me Armen". Did Something bit him?? he wants me to call him by...his...name. " Okayy.. Armen".
He smiled sadly and then he said something that my very heart wanted to hear and see , him breaking his walls slowly and steadily. " I'm sorry for everything I put you through Wonder, I know it's not enough but I really am ". I can see it in his eyes, it was truth not some kind of joke , my view was blurring due to unshed tears. " I know you are ! Hell the Armen Sokolov saying the word Sorry, Hahaha I need to tell Max he'll be rolling on ground".I tried to lighten the mood, I'm still not used to the Grinch but It is true, I have never seen him saying sorry, Max told me he never said sorry in his entire life except three times , he didn't tell me what happened saying it's not his story to tell and I left the topic there .
Armen looked at me and irritation was clear on his face "I'll do anything to correct what I did Wonder ". I said it's okay, him saying sorry and realising his mistakes were more than enough for me but I can't miss this opportunity" Anything??". I asked him confirming What I heard is true and he smiled. " Anything!!". He looked desparate and I had a plan , it's going to be fun!!" You can't back away later on ". I'm damn sure he'll back away if I tell him what I'm planning to do... hehehe!" Wouldn't think of it" he said determined, but I need something solid "You Swear on your company?". Ookayy he looked impatient now... " Wonder dear I swear on my company!! Would you just tell me now what is it I have to do ?". He called me dear?...!! I am seriously fangirling in my head but he still kinda ordered me...
" Okay okay habits don't change I see , let's go then" I took his big warm hands in mine and started moving out of the company , I can't stop my laughs I'm too happy, he finally isn't looking at me like I'm some whore instead it's the look that says I matter to him...
I'm able to see the glimpse of my Armen beneath that Grinch, I don't know what happened but he is changing, I can see...it won't be easy but atleast he's trying. It will be hard to forget everything for me but it's not the time, it's time to enjoy this peace with my real Armen "Carefull Wonder"." Haha, don't worry about me , worry about the promise you made to me ".
