-Cyprio-

The Powers of Life and Death had many pieces to their one being. Much like my pieces, they traveled freely, but shared one mind. Other realms had the same kind of powers; they were all in the same form but slightly different. In other realms they also had offspring like me. They only had one child in each realm, to make sure the balance would be even. Demons could travel through the realms with ease, but people with direct contact with the powers, or the powers themselves could never leave their designated realm.

I went over these facts in my mind over and over again. If these were, indeed, facts, then why would the laws be broken? I saw the vision. My bodies still ached with the blurry, fast moving images that plagued my view. All my pieces were sitting, their legs crossed. They all went over the vision in their minds. Even though every single one pondered, they couldn't make sense of it.

Julie was with Vincent, fire, one of my sisters from a small realm just under us, blue eyes glowing bright. It hurt to picture them too hard. I knew these were the other realm's Power of Life and Death. But Julie was with them. I pulled my hair in frustration. I could never change the premonitions I saw. I saw them because they are unstoppable points in time.

A voice pulled me from my thoughts. It was my little bird. One of my parts stood and went to greet her. "Avila," I smiled, but quickly faded. Her eyes were red with tears. "What is wrong?"

She turned her head away from me and looked at the marble floor. "Cyprio, I have a horrible thing to tell you."

My heart sank. The first thing that came to mind was Viktor. I didn't see him in my vision, so something could have gone wrong with him. "What happened?" I asked, distress in my voice.

Avila looked up at me with pained eyes.

"I have killed someone."

The worry and stress I felt soon replaced with anger and disappointment. I opened my mouth to speak my feelings, how she broke the only oath I begged her to keep. But I pressed my lips together before I could yell. "This will be addressed later. I hope you had a good reason, Avila."

She only looked away from my direction.

"Something horrible is going to happen with our realm." I said it thoughtfully, the idea just occurring to me. "Our realm could be destroyed."
