3rd Person Omniscient

warning: nothing too explicit but there is making out in this chapter, but this chapter is important to plot so if you're uncomfortable with them just making out then stop reading when Albedo says "I suppose you're correct", and continue when it says "before they could go any further"

When Albedo reached the chambers, Kaeya was already there waiting for him.

"Oh, good. I need to talk to you about something," Kaeya got up off the couch once he noticed Albedo walk in, walking up to the him.

Albedo made a noise of questioning, meeting Kaeya in the middle of the room after closing the door behind him.

"I assume Halfdan came to you about your coronation?" Kaeya asked, "how'd that go?"

"Fine," Albedo answered, "we decided to have it sooner rather than later, and for it to be small. Why?"

"I was just curious on my husband's affairs, is all. Is that so wrong of me?" Kaeya asked, reaching out to grab Albedo's hands.

"I suppose not," Albedo replies, letting Kaeya take his hands and get the slightest bit closer.

Sure, he's been this close to Kaeya before, but for some reason it felt different for him. Instead of the anxiety he felt when he had to get near him for the wedding, he felt conflicted. Why was Kaeya suddenly doing this? Does he know how Albedo feels about him? Is this part of the 'happy married couple' act?

Kaeya smiled looking down at him, and he almost fell over right there. Kaeya closed his eyes and slowly started to lean down to Albedo's height, who was starting to close his eyes and trying not to let his nervousness show.

The door slammed open, a small green-haired woman standing in the doorway. Her face flushed and she was stuttering out apologies when she realized she walked in at the wrong time. She bowed before the two before speaking.

"Oh! I'm sorry your Highnesses! But the palace is under attack, Snezhnayan assassins!" She yelled, "you must get to to the safe room! Dain is waiting there."

With that she bowed again and left to help defend the palace. Though her main interest is Alchemy, she uses her skill to contribute greatly to protecting her nation.

Kaeya kept hold of one of Albedo's hands but let go of the other as the two ran to the designated safe room. It wasn't very far from their chambers, but it was still a notable distance.

Albedo looked out a window as he ran with Kaeya, seeing 20 or so Snezhnayan dressed men scaling the palace. One pointed directly at him and then yelled to his comrades. Right after Albedo and Kaeya turned the corner, glass shattered behind them, landing all over the floor and almost cutting Albedo with how close it was.

Albedo subconsciously gripped Kaeya's hand tighter as the two kept running. They were almost in the safe room, but he was terrified. He wondered if Kaeya felt that way, too. Regardless, it was clear who their target was.

They reached the door, and Kaeya quickly entered the password. The door opened immediately, closing right after the two men were inside. It was a tight fit, but they could manage. Albedo was awkwardly pressed up against Kaeya's chest when they walked in, neither were quite sure what to say or do.

Albedo had never even been near the safe room before, so he had no idea what to expect. He surely wasn't expecting an elevator leading down to a small dark room, where Dainsleif was waiting on the pair.

The elevator stopped, and Kaeya and Albedo exited, both secretly thankful that they could seperate.

"Took you guys long enough," Dainsleif huffed, looking at the two, "I thought you were dead before you got here."
