3rd Person Omniscient
Albedo woke up warm.
He was warmer than usual, but he didn't dislike it. The warmth almost made him want to fall back asleep, until he registered where the warmth was coming from.
Albedo had somehow ended up with his face in Kaeya's chest and Kaeya's arms wrapped around him overnight.
Albedo panicked, not wanting to wake the sleeping man next to him, but also wanting to get up. He opted for looking at the sleeping King.
Albedo couldn't deny that the man was beautiful, and for a moment he felt enchanted by him. He reached a hand up and placed his palm on Kaeya's cheek, rubbing it softly with his thumb.
Albedo thought for a second that maybe, just maybe, he could admit that he loves him.
There was a small hum from Kaeya, and Albedo tried to remove his hand, but Kaeya grabbed his wrist to keep it there. Kaeya turned his head and pressed a light kiss to Albedo's palm before opening his eyes.
Those damn eyes...
"Why so jumpy about touching me?" Kaeya asked teasingly, his voice deep from sleep, "you can, you know. Touch me."
Albedo felt heat rise to his face, ripping his hand out to Kaeya's grip, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you."
Kaeya let out another hum, putting the hand he had on Albedo's hand back around the blond's waist, "'ts alright."
"Who knew the King of Khaenri'ah was so clingy in the morning..." Albedo thought to himself.
"I really need to get up, so if you could let go..." Albedo began, trailing off.
"Why do you need to get up?" Kaeya asked, "we don't have anything to do."
"Because your hands around my waist is going to be the death of me." Albedo thought to himself, but he wouldn't dare speak the thought out loud.
"We have to see off Klee, Rhinedottir, Alice, and Diluc. I also wish to g-" Albedo was interrupted by a knocking on the door.
"Come in!" Kaeya yelled, the door opening almost immediately after.
"Sir- oh, my apologies, am I interrupting something?" The maid asked, her cheeks flaring at the almost domestic scene in front of her.
Albedo can imagine what it looks like to her. Kaeya's arms wrapped around him, holding him close in bed, the blankets brought up to both of their necks. Kaeya let go of Albedo to reassure the maid that nothing was interrupted, and Albedo took his chance to get up.
He quickly slid off of the bed, yawning and stretching. He didn't miss the look of disappointment from Kaeya.
"What is it?" Albedo asked the maid, turning to face her.
"I just wanted to tell you that breakfast has been finished and is on the table. Master Diluc, as well as the others, are preparing to leave after breakfast," the maid explained, opting not to point out how Albedo was still in his attire from the wedding.
"Thank you, you may leave. We'll be down shortly," At Kaeya's command, the maid bowed her head and left, closing the door behind her.
"So, care to explain to me why I woke up with your hand on my face?" Kaeya asked, sitting up and stretching, "I don't mind, but I am curious."
Albedo looked at the floor embarrassed, he didn't even notice Kaeya come up behind him until he was whispering in his ear, "you know, you were beautiful yesterday. I was almost hoping you'd change your mind about not sleeping with me, because I certainly did."
