The Jadedian Realm is a multicultural kingdom, and its people have a rich and bloody history.
Part one culture.
There many cultures in the Jadedian realm but the primary culture is the Jadedian culture which is a culture similar to Han culture and other ancient Chinese cultures.
The Jadedians wear clothings similar to what the Chinese of the Han Dynasty wore.
In Jadedian culture Family has been a key component in society for thousands of years in Jadedia. Today, many aspects of Jadedian life can be tied to honoring one's parents or ancestors. Because of the focus on family, it is common for Jadedian, even when fully grown with children of their own, to have many living generations of a family living under the same roof.
The Jadedians have a zodiac system (just like the chinese zodiac) where twelve animals serves as the zodiac signs like the Qilin, phoenix, pixiu, Taotie, Bixi, Xiezhi, zouyu, bai ze, kui, fei, shishi, zhuque, Each of the twelve animals stands for a year in a twelve-year cycle, a day in the a twelve-day cycle, and for every two hours in a twenty four-hour day. These were used to name each year along with the animal signs, but now they mainly just use the dates The Jadedian zodiac signs follow a twelve -year cycle, in accordance with the Jadedian calendar. At the start of each new year, a new animal represents this new cycle. This carries on until all animals have had a year, and then the cycle repeats itself.
The Jadedian had deeply rooted and cultural traditions of fine literature, detailed and highly sought-after pottery.
Jadedian farmers were respected in Jaedia as they fed the country's already burgeoning population. Many of these farmers were successful enough that they owned their own land, while others worked as tenants on the farms of aristocrats; the Jadedian cut terraces into the hillsides to grow rice and other crops and have special farming methods like crop rotations and intercropping, terracing and the use of diverse crop varieties.
