The Valkyrie Jarldom is a kingdom of immortal and unaging warriors with immense strength, magical power, pain tolerance, and can take souls of fallen warriors and turn them into immortal and unkillable warriors called Einherjar. essentially the Valkyries are demigoddesses.
Part one culture.
Aspects of Vakyrie culture are similar to Norse culture.
The Valkyries live for battle and since they're immortal, exceedingly strong, have high pain tolerance, and wield mighty and powerful magics. The Valkyries see battle as more of a fun and awesome recreational activity rather then something serious, as the result of this viewpoint towards battle, the Valkyries are brash, audacious, bold and arrogant.
The Valkyries always yearn to be challenged because it can test their skills, abilities and it makes a battle all the more exciting for the Valkyries. Valkyries don't like easy wins because there's no fun in it.
The Valkyries do not take politics seriously and believe that politics is just a boring game mortal take way to seriously.
Valkyries often hunt giant and horrific beasts and mount their heads on their walls in the sky city of Asgardr because they look cool and the battles involved in the hunt are awesome.
The Valkyries love having parties where they get to feast on meat and drink mead. The Valkyries love heavy metal and so hold heavy metal rock concerts.
The Valkyries drink their mead in drinking horns.
The Valkyries do not fear death and even welcome it as long as it's a warrior's death.
In the event of a Valkyrie's fall in battle, the other Valkyries cremate the corpse and then hold a ceremony of feast and heavy metal to honor the fallen Valkyrie.
Since the Valkyries are immortal and so they never commit to a romantic relationship with each other and just only have brief dating periods, some Valkyries did commit to romantic relationships with mortals as they could outlive their mortal lover and find a new lover.
The Valkyries wear shoulder pauldron, light arm wraps, sleeveless shirts, skirts with spikes, fur shoulder clothing, Hauberks, chainmail, bicep lace strings, boots with fur, winged helmets, arm bracers, warrior headpieces, leather armor, metal plates, metal gauntlets, and fur linings.
The Valkyries have tattoos on their bodies.
The Valkyries are expert blacksmith, they are able to forge magically enhanced weapons that would never break and can lash out magic spell attacks.
The Valkyries bring the souls of fallen warriors to their sky city of Asgardr because they view mortals who die in battle as worthy because they didn't fear death. And so the Valkyries bring the souls of the fallen warriors to Asgardr where the fallen warriors are reborn as the Einherjar and gain great gifts like immortality and whenever they fall on the battlefield they just simply respawn back in Asgardr, essentially they Einherjar are unkillable. The Valkyries also let Einherjar take part in their feast parties, hunts, and heavy metal rock concerts.
