Emma's POV

I walked in my school and went to my locker.

" Why didn't you go to the place ? And why did you unfollow me ? " I turned around to face him.

" Beacuse I didn't want to. " I replied and face back to my locker. He turned me and closed my locker then banged me towards my locker with his hands beside my head.

" Tell me properly ! " he said, almost shouting which scares me because I didn't know he would do such things. My shocked face probably was probably clear because he started to move back, looking guilty.

" What's going on here ? " Graham came to see me and Austin together. He pushed Austin to the locker beside me.

" He didn't do anything wrong ! Don't do this ! " I tried to stop Graham when Killian came too.

" Killian, take Emma to her class. " Killian nodded without knowing anything and took me to our first class.

" Since when are you and Graham are close friends ? " I asked.

" Since you and Austin broke up. And also, here's your birthday present. " he gave me a necklace. This was the necklace I've always wanted ! My eyes widened and Killian laughed at my reaction. He putted it around my neck. I looked at him and saw how we're just centimeters apart.

I retreated and sat on my seat, making sure that I looked like I moved back to go to my seat not because of him.

Austin and Graham came in class when the bell rung. I saw Austin dosen't have any bruises on his face, which means they didn't fight. I saw Austin kept staring at the necklace I'm wearing that Graham gave to me.

The teacher came in and we all moved seats.

" Thanks, for saving me ? I'm not sure what to say. " I stuttered.

" It's okay. I was just helping. " he smiled at me.

" But why ? Why would you want to help me ? "

" Because I wanted to protect you. Think of it as me paying my debt on being mean to you. " I nodded and we passed our project to the teacher.

We walked back to our seats and talked while waiting for others to finish.

" Do you think I should give Killian a chance ? " I blurted out what I was thinking. I felt my cheeks heat up when I said that.

" If you like him, go for it. If you don't then don't. " Graham smirked.

" How come I have a feeling that you like him and plan to make a move on him ? " Graham looked towards the board.

I walked home since August is sick or at least, injured. Ella have gone home and Belle is coming with me to see August.

" Belle, should I give Killian a chance ? " I decided to ask her and I faced her, begging for her to answer.

" Depends. If you like him, you should. If not, then don't. " she smiled.

" Like brother, like sister. " I laughed and she hitted my arm and I stopped laughing.

" Where's Graham anyway ? Shouldn't you guys go home together ? " I asked, searching for him, looking left and right.

" He's always hanging out with his friends after school. " she said, and then we heard someone calling for us.

We turned to see Graham running towards us.

" Belle ! Emma ! Wait for meee !! " He shouted.

" Wait, why are you here ? Shouldn't you be with your friends right now ? " Belle asked.
