Amnesia

Finally ! My exams has finished ! I'm so happy ! Also, enjoy this chapter !

Emma's POV

Mom nodded.

" Really ? " I asked.

" Yes, really. As long as you maintain your grades. " mom smiled and I nodded happily. We can borrow Ella's notes.

Belle and Graham already went home to ask their parents about tomorrow and they don't want them to get worried. Mom and dad also left. I sat beside August. I held his hand tightly and soon fell asleep.

August's POV

I woke up from my deep sleep, or at least I think it is. I don't know what happened to me, neither do I know my own name. I know one thing for sure, I'm in a hospital.

I tried to move my left hand but it won't budge, I looked at it to see a blonde girl sleeping on my hand.

She must be someone I know. Perhaps, is she my girlfriend ? I took my right hand and stroke her head. It couldn't be possible, I don't have those types of feelings towards her.

She woke up as soon as she felt my hand. She looked back up at me and her face lightened up.

" August ! " she hugged me. So, that's my name ! August. But what's my last name ?

" Are you okay ? Are you hurt anywhere ? " she asked me. What exactly happen to me ?

" Excuse me but may I ask, who exactly are you ? " I said bluntly, not sure what to do. She moved back a little.

" Wait, are you saying that you don't remember me ? " she pointed to herself. I shook my head. My head hurts from moving. I tried not to show it but she saw right through me.

" Stop moving. " she made me lay down so my head won't hurt. The door suddenly swung open.

" Emma, is August awake ? " a girl asked. She has a brown hair and a very heavy british accent. So this blonde girl is Emma ? That name seems very familiar.

The girl with the heavy british accent saw me and she smiled. Her eyes shows that she's happy to see me.

" You're awake ! " she ran and hugged me tightly. I felt tears dropping on my shirt. She must be really happy.

" Belle, he's not in a good state. Be careful with him. " Emma said. Her name must be Belle. I wonder who is she. Is she Emma's best friend ? Is she my friend ? Or something more ?

I'm so confused with my life right now. Emma then took her outside, probably to explain something to her.

Emma's POV

" What's wrong ? " Belle asked. Even though she looks really happy right now, I still have to tell her. Even if it'll break her heart.

" August. He.. he has a-amnesia. " I stuttered. My voice cracked a little and my eyes was really wet.

" What ? How did you find out ? The doctor isn't even here yet. " she asked in disbelief.

" He asked me who am I and he had a confused look on his face when you hugged him. " Belle cried and I hugged her, tears flowing down my face.

Graham walked to us with a confused face.

" What's going on here ? " he asked, comforting Belle even when he doesn't know what's going on.

" August.. he has amnesia. He can't remember any of us. " I said since I'm the only one who can speak.

" I'm sure he'll remember eventually. We'll help him remember, okay ? " Graham comforted us. My phone suddenly rang. I let go of Belle and picked up my phone.

" Emma. Why aren't you in school ? Are you sick ? " Killian asked me. He sounded worried.

" I'm in the hospital. I'm helping my parents nurse August. By the way, got to go. The doctor's here. " I hung up as soon as I saw the doctor.

" Who was that ? " Graham asked.

" Killian. " I shook my phone in front of him and faced the doctor.

" Is August awake ? " the doctor asked and we all nodded. The doctor entered the room and checked on August. We stepped inside with him. When he was done, he approached us.

" Is he okay ? " Belle asked. I saw her hands balled into fists. She does that when she's nervous. I faced the doctor, waiting for his answer, hoping that he'll say that August is fine.
