"How much did I drink?" James grumbled moving from his position on the couch to come face to face with Sirius

"Enough to start avoiding Seph " he joked patting him on the shoulder and helping him to stand up.

"Did she get her present at least?" he cringed putting a hand to his head and sitting back down

"Nope it's still sat in that corner untouched" Sirius shrugged pointing at the poorly wrapped object

"Bloody hell , where is she now?"

"Mate you must have been blackout drunk. She caught the night bus. She's staying with the Anvils , well for now anyway" the long haired boy informed him walking into the kitchen to get James a drink.

The speckled boy let out a laugh - a fake one. The kind of 'are you joking?' laughs , until he saw his friend's s face which was anything but happy.

"Seriously?" he stumbled standing up suddenly "She just got here"

"Relax she's not moving out of the country" Nicholas mumbled in his tired state "She left cause she didn't want to be a bother to us" the younger boy added

"And how do you know that?" James sassed

"She told me , yesterday . Whilst you were prancing around Lily Evans." he sassed back

"I thought you were over Evans why am I hearing her name again?" Remus then added as he joined the group in the passageway to the dining room

"I am. Sort of. I'm not sure" James sighed " I love Lily"

"Do you?" Remus asked

"Why in Merlin's name are you going to Paris with Junnon?" Jasper yelled , outraged at his cousin's poor dating choices

"Jasper!" Maggie - the twins mother yelled from the top of the staircase " Shut up . Seph is gorgeous enough to have options , the same can't be said for you" she finished walking down the stairs with the washing

"I just want to see Paris it's not like I actually like him Jas" Persephone said putting on her beige jacket

"I would do the same" Vinnie shrugged sipping his tea from his place on the living room sofa

"I just hate him so much" Jasper admitted "He thinks he runs the world cause he's blonde , it's weird"

"Well good thing you aren't spending the day with him then isn't it" the girl replied lacing up her black boots and picking up her bag " I should be back by nine -"

"And if your not?" Vinnie interrupted

"If i'm not then you have full permission to go to Paris and find me yourself. Happy?"

"No"
"Yes"

"Perfect I'll see you all later. Bye Maggie!" Persephone said as she left the house to greet Edward who offered to pick her up and take her to the portkey  they were going to use.

"Hello Seph,  looking good as always" he complimented holding a hand out for her to take

"Same applies" she spoke avoiding his hand as she continued to walk "How has the rest of your summer been?" she asked to attempt to get rid of the awkward silence

"Not too bad, your party was a highlight. What about yours?"

"It could've been better" she replied bluntly

"How so?"

"Spent the first half in the house not doing much" she expanded looking up the sky to admire the clouds

"I spend multiple days in the house myself actually. A rather boring way to spend your free time I must admit" the blonde admitted "I do enjoy visiting Paris however I know the best spots" this caught the girls attention slightly , she did love to travel.

"I look forward to it" she smiled "Where abouts is the portkey?" she asked quickly after as she realised they were getting closer and closer to James' house

"The park just across from Potters actually" Edward pointed seeing his parents who waved at him in the distance

"Great" Seph whispered

"What was that?"

"Nothing i'm just glad that it's not too far away" she smiled taking the arm that Edward had out for their walk - slightly shocking the blonde but he quickly played it off.

In the distance , Sirius had decided it was a good idea to get James out of the house and on a walk to shake all of the thoughts from the party. He was in a very confused state and simply needed to get some fresh air.

The best place to do so ? The park. So the marauders ventured out of the house around midday to visit the local park which was the birthplace to thinking of their very first prank. Specifically , the big brown oak tree just the far left of the place that inspired them to cover the whomping willow in glitter , it seemed to share some characteristics of the tree and made them all feel closer to hogwarts.

"Hey Sirius , don't look now but is that Seph?" Remus said putting an arm around his boyfriend and leaning into his ear

"You know if you wanted to touch me you could've just asked" the boy whispered with a smirk turning the two around so he could face the entrance of the park "Oh shit"

"Hey James. Isn't that Seph?" Peter announced causing James to turn his attention to the pair that just entered the park

"With Junnon are you kidding?"
