Lady Catelyn rode to the tents that had been set up just outside of Winterfell, the bannermen already rallying their forces to march South. It had been a few days, and both Robb and Cassana grew desperate at any news that come from King's Landing.

"The Lannisters are marching with Ser Jaime leading them. The river lords are failing to push him back. Brynden Tully is carrying the trident right now", Cassana says, holding her stomach. The rest of the lords listened to their Queen.

Robb nodded, his thoughts mirroring hers, "We have to deploy a small force under his command to help them, we have to hold back those forces. My love, are your bannermen soon to arrive?"

"I've received word of Ser Velaryon, but my brother is gathering the stormlands to his favor. I must speak with him", she says, her hand shaking.

Her own brother had taken the stormlands, declaring himself the rightful king. It was a betrayal that hurt her most bitterly. He knew she was heir. Robb looked at her, his hand grazing hers to show hidden comfort.

Another lord opened his mouth to speak, but Lady Catelyn, her good mother had ridden in, with ser Rodrick following her. Robb's eyes softened from their hard shell as he finally grew hopeful.

"Mother! You look well", Robb said, helping her mother dismount her steed.

"Lady Catelyn, you're a welcome sight in these troubled times. We had not thought to meet you here, my Lady", said Cassana, bowing her head in respect.

"I told you to call me Cat, sweet Sana. I had not thought to be here, nor I thought you'll be here. What are you doing here? I wish to speak to my son and good daughter alone", she said, motioning the remaining lords out of the room.

"I know you will forgive us, my lords, but we have news to share with my good mother if that is alright with you", smiled Cassana, her hand gripping the small bump of her stomach. The lords smiled, already knowing such news. They had sworn to protect the heir to the throne, and one which strengthened the claim.

"You heard her! Move your asses! Come on, out. You too, Greyjoy. Are you bloody deaf", said Smalljon Umber as he removed the lords from the tent.

"Have no fear, My Lady and Queen, we'll shove our swords up Tywin Lannister's bunghole, and then it's on the Red Keep to free Ned", Ser Rodrik said, Cassana's eyes lighting in amusement.

"You old devil, Rodrik", said Robb, huffing in amusement.

"Before you are dismissed, Ser Rodrick, I must ask you a favor. Will you please ride to Winterfell to take care of Bran and Rickon? I left Ser Mormont with them, but I'm afraid I will be needing his intel soon. We can't leave the children alone, I would be comfortable if you are there to protect them", asked Cassana, her voice gentle as she thought about the little children that had taken her heart.

"Of course, my Queen, at once", he said, mounting his horse and departing.

She heard Robb start talking with his mother, Cassana offered him privacy, but he motioned her to come. She smiled, her hand grasping his.

"Catelyn, I am sorry about Ned and the girls. I am trying to talk to my spies to smuggle them out somewhere safe. I know you came here after being in the Eyrie, a move I would have advised not to follow, but it is now done. Robb and I must tell you some things. Please take a sit", Cassana motioned for the chair as Robb and she took a seat in front of her.

"As you know mother, Sana is the rightful heir to the throne. She has an uncontested claim, given by her brother. We have the papers that prove so in my chambers. Along with that, she has made me her ruling King, making me Lord of Winterfell, Warden of the North, and, rightful King to the throne", he said.
