(Scene fades to Rachel in her bedroom. She's standing in front of her mirror wearing a frilly white shirt with short poofy sleeves, a floor length red and pink skirt, and a golden pendant around her neck)
Rachel: (sighs) Sixteen, wow.
Leo: (from downstairs) Rachel, you ready up there? We don't wanna start the party without you.
Rachel: I'm coming, Papa! (turns to her mirror and pauses, then nods at her reflection with a smirk) You got this. (walks out of her room and heads downstairs. Granny, Bree, Leo, and Andrew look to see Rachel coming down the stairs)
Aunt Bree: Oh, Rachel! You look so beautiful!
Granny Lucy: Like a true young lady. (gives Rachel a big hug)
Andrew and Leo: Happy Birthday, sweetheart.
Rachel: Oh thanks so much, you guys!
Aunt Bree: So should we start with presents or cake first?
Rachel: Presents. Like you even need to ask.
Granny Lucy: (giggles) Good choice, because I have something VERY special for you, honey.
Rachel: Then what are we waiting for?
(Rachel sits down on the sofa while Leo, Bree, Andrew, and Granny sit down surrounding her. She's opened the first of her presents: a small wooden horse statue, a new jewelry box, some more new books, a couple of new dresses, some new shoes, and even a pair of new boots. Granny then hands Rachel one last gift: a package wrapped in white paper and tied with a red ribbon. Rachel excitedly opens the present and gasps as she holds up her present; it's a hooded cloak made of red velvet. Andrew, Leo, and Bree gasp as well)
Rachel: Oh Granny! It's beautiful! (hugs Granny Lucy tightly) Thank you so much!
Granny Lucy: I made it myself.
Rachel: Well, it's perfect! I love it! (immediately puts on the cloak, stands up, and gives a twirl)
Andrew: Oh my gosh, Rachel! You look so cute in that!
Leo: It IS perfect! (chuckles)
Rachel: (sighs and grins) Wow, you guys are too much! Thank you so very much, all of you! (gives Granny, Leo, Andrew, and Bree each a big hug)
Aunt Bree: You're welcome, sweetheart. Now who's ready for cake?
Rachel: Me!
(Scene fades to the dining room. Everyone is sitting at the table when Aunt Bree comes in carrying a beautifully decorated cake with sixteen lit candles)
Aunt Bree: Surprise!
Rachel: It's beautiful, Aunt Bree. (the cake is set down in front of Rachel)
Granny Lucy: Ready, everyone?
Leo, Andrew, and Bree: Ready.
Andrew, Leo, Bree, and Lucy (singing): Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday, dear Rachel
Happy Birthday to you!
Leo: Hold on, Rachel. Have you made a wish yet?
(Rachel pauses, then closes her eyes. After a moment, she opens her eyes and blows out the candles in one go. Everyone claps)
Rachel: I have now.
Leo: What did you wish for?
Rachel: I can't tell you that, Papa. If I do tell, my wish won't come true.
