Rachel: We did it! (looks up to see the full moon rising into the sky. The moon shines down on her and her eyes glisten in the light. She smiles before turning to Leo) Hey, Papa. I'm... sorry. I'm sorry for giving you the cold shoulder for so long and I'm sorry for sneaking out. I know you want me to be safe, but you can't keep me sheltered from the whole world for the rest of my life. And you can't keep treating me like a child either. I'm not going to stay one forever, you know.
Leo: (looks at Andrew, Bree, and Granny, then at Rachel) You're right, and I'm sorry too. (sighs) It's just that... ever since when you were born, I was always so afraid to lose you. Granny was always there for me while I was growing up, but my father... was a different story. I hardly even saw him most of the time. When I got older, I decided I didn't want to be anything like my dad, but I guess I went a bit overboard.
Rachel: You think?
Leo: Yeah, yeah. But the thing is... I just wanted you to feel safe, like... when you were young.
Rachel: Papa, I know I've made mistakes, and I'm sure I'll probably make a bunch more. But I learn from those mistakes. I think that's what growing up is.
Leo: ...You're right. And I will admit, if you hadn't snuck out like you did, I probably wouldn't have learned what I needed to learn in the first place. (he and Rachel hug) I love you.
Rachel: I love you, too.
(Andrew, Bree, and Granny quickly join the hug while Jake watches with a smile. Granny kindly offers her hand to him, and he reluctantly takes it before he's pulled into the group hug. After a moment, they part)
Leo: And Jake? I'm really sorry for what happened that night. I was just really upset and I took it out on you and Rachel.
Jake: It's... okay, sir. I understand you were worried about your daughter. (he and Leo shake hands before Jake turns to Andrew) No hard feelings?
Andrew: Of course not. (he and Jake shake hands) Honestly, anyone who makes my daughter this happy is okay in my book.
Aunt Bree: That goes double for me. (she and Jake shake hands)
Granny Lucy: Jake, I cannot thank you enough for helping me and my granddaughter. Don't forget that you're always welcome at my place. If you ever want to stop by for a visit, don't hesitate. (gently pats Jake on the back)
Jake: Thank you, ma'am.
Rachel: And Jake? (steps closer to Jake) I want to thank you, for everything. (puts her silver bracelet back on) For sharing a dance with me, for helping me meet a few people in town, and for saving me; I don't know what would've happened if it weren't for you.
Jake: No problem.
Rachel: And thank you for... being my friend.
Jake: You're welcome, Rachel. (they both blush and they hug)
(Granny, Bree, Leo, and Andrew watch the pair with smiles)
Rachel: Oh, wait. I just remembered. (they part) Isn't tonight the Full Moon Festival?
Jake: You're right, it is.
(Rachel turns to face her family and she gives them a pleading look. They all look at each other, then at Leo. He sighs in defeat)
Leo: Okay, okay. You're now officially ungrounded... and you can go to the Festival.
(Rachel grins excitedly and gives Leo a big hug)
Leo: As long as we all get to go, too.
Rachel: (giggles) Deal. (to Granny) How about you, Granny?

Fantasía[Inspired by an episode of Shelley Duvall's Faerie Tale Theater] This is how I imagined Little Red Riding Hood as an animated Disney film in the format of a script (with a few songs written with the help of a very good friend of mine)
