"But-"
"Something must've happened to you that made you lose your tribe," Tiffany said. "In the dream, something happened to your family,"
Lily remembered it now- the memories flooded back. Her mother being lost in the angry mob of vicious wolves, her sister falling overboard. Lily wondered what had caused her to lose a bit of memory like that other than time itself.
"What did they mean... about me being the chosen one...and the blue sparkles-" Lily said, then thought for a moment, remembering the odd blue, sparkly portal she had seen in Fire Territory. Her mother had said something- she remembered now from the tone in her mother's voice from the dream- about her mother going through that portal...but never coming back. And something about only the chosen wolf being able to go through the portal.
"You're the chosen one..."
Was the dream a message from her mother?
Lily sat up. In an active and rushed voice, she said "I think I know what I have to do,"
"Me too," said Tiffany. "Go through that portal. But I cannot come with you. I'm too hurt. But the dream I had had a solution to that,"
"Oh yeah? What is it?" asked Lily.
"My dream said that what is on the other side of that portal is a repetition of time. It repeats itself, over and over, while you are in it. What repeats depends on who goes in it,"
"What will it repeat-" Lily said, thinking for a second. If she stepped through that portal, would she see her mother and sister again?
"I don't know, but it also told me that I can enter that repetition of time. All I have to do is go back to sleep and you will see me on the other side once you get in there. So I'll meet you on the other side,"
Lily nodded and began to turn to walk out of the cave. "Hey," Tiffany called, and Lily turned back.
Tiffany smiled at her. "Good luck," she said. "Now go find the portal in Fire Territory,"

Lily began to run through the Oldest Territory using navigation skills. Around her, the territory looked as if it was waving goodbye with its empty, abandoned beauty that always stayed the same. She continued to run through the territory until she reached the edge where the land met the water. She then swam for a very long time, still keeping the navigation skills in mind. She knew where Fire Territory was from experience, and she reached there after a long moment of swimming.
Alright, she thought as she climbed onto the rocks, meeting the surface. Where to now? She knew she had to find the cave, and she was already at the beach, on some rocks that surrounded some water and separated it from the rest of the ocean. This was the beach area where she knew the cave was.
She began to walk along the craggy rocks towards the large boulder in the earth, the rough edges against her soft paw pads. She kept her eye on the boulder that seemed to increase in size as she got closer and closer. When she reached it, she moved it aside with her paws. It moved slowly and stayed instead of rolling off due to being in the earth a little, which was fortunate, and still made room for her to walk into.
Like she had done before, she walked into the little cave, which emitted its blue light from the mysterious portal next to the three wolves.
"Hello," said the tallest wolf in the middle.
"Hello," Lily said softly. "Just gimme a second, lemme-"
"What?" the wolf said, and then watched as Lily walked towards the portal, and the amount of blue light began to increase as it completely sucked her in. Lily's vision went dark.
"Oh no- that's not safe- oh...well..." said the middle wolf.
"What just happened?" asked the white wolf on his left.
"She went through that portal," said the brown and white wolf on the right. "All of the other wolves who did that...didn't survive,"
