Lily woke up one morning from her blossom tree. She stretched and decided to head down to the clearing by the waterfall to hang out.
She walked through the forest until she eventually arrived at the clearing. It was especially populated today. Some wolves were blasting music, others were drinking water from the pond, others were chatting.
She was going to sit down and watch the water when she felt herself being bitten.
She looked down and saw a pup biting her leg.
It hurt, more than it should. Normally pup bites don't hurt that bad, because they're play-biting. But this pup wasn't play-biting. The bites hurt too much for this pup to be playing.
This pup was actually biting her.
Lily tried to ignore it and walk away, despite the pain. Her leg was bleeding a little bit. But the pup shouted "DIE" and continued to bite her.
Lily got tired of ignoring and tried to bite back. She knew it was a pup and you weren't supposed to hurt pups, but this pup was purposely trying to hurt her. But with every lunge, the pup dodged, and Lily felt the pain from her leg grow stronger until she didn't have the strength to fight anymore. She tried to run, but the pain from her leg hurt so much she fell to the ground.
The pup kept biting her.
"Stop, please, I can't run!" Lily shouted.
"That just makes it easier to kill you!" the pup continued to bite her.
Lily tried to stand up, but her entire body was sore. "LEAVE ME ALONE, YOU BRAT!"
And that was when this large black wolf came up to her and growled. His eyes were red and glowed like red fires, and he lunged forward and bit her side really hard and ripped out a chunk of her pink fur.
The pain stung throughout her entire body. "OW! WHAT DID I DO? WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!"
"You called her a brat," the black wolf said, in a deep, rumbly, horrifying voice.
"Yeah, but she WAS ATTACKING ME!" Lily shouted, but she didn't think the wolf had heard her, because he lunged again, biting her side even harder and ripping out even more fur.
Lily shouted in pain. It hurt, more than the wolf pup biting her leg, almost more than the assassin's knives in her chest. She felt as if her entire body was screaming, wishing to die. She wanted to die right here.
She didn't think it would get any worse, but then all the wolves in the clearing walked towards her. Everyone was crowding her while she lay there bleeding. And then, they started biting her and ripping chunks of her fur out, almost as if they were trying to eat her.
Before, these wolves were just harmless, happy families. Mothers and pups that had played in the water, and teens that just sat by the water and listened to music. But they weren't the same anymore, and their eyes said it all. They were psychos.
Lily felt tears streaming down her face as she screamed, cried, for someone to help her, as she was slowly mauled by psychopaths, wolves once sane, now rogue. Those two times when she almost died at Sundown Island, she had been saved. But here, no one wanted to save her. They were all against her.
One more blow in the head, and she blacked out.
Once she was out, the wolves picked her up and disposed of her in the ocean. They had believed that they completed their goal.
They needed this wolf dead.
