Lily's eyes fluttered open, to see herself washed away on a beach. Small, harmless waves crashed around her body as she lifted up her head. She was on a new island, one that smelled unfamiliar.
She stood up and shook the sand off her wet fur. She glanced around. This island was new. Wolves have keen eyesight, and as far as she could see, the island had a lot of trees, hills, and strangely, crystals sticking out of the ground.

It also smelled of....wolves? There was wolf life on this island? She couldn't be sure, the smell was different than the smell of the wolves she was used to.
"W-where am I?" She said, not realizing she said it out loud. She began to walk further into the island, where the smell got stronger. Her paws left pawprints in the sand. When she got more into the woods, she could see more trees, and the crystals laying around were multiple colors. She wondered what they meant.

Are there other wolves on this island? The smell was especially strong now

Are there other wolves on this island? The smell was especially strong now. As she wandered further, she saw she saw a flash of fur.
She then saw a wolf.
Or what she thought was a wolf. It certainly was a wolf, but it didn't look like any wolf she'd ever seen. It had a brown coat, with white spots on its back, like a baby deer, and tall, bat-like ears.
She looked to her right, then saw a black wolf. This one had normal shaped ears like the wolves she was used to, but it had white speckles on its back, and had horns. It also wore a scarf.
So there are wolves on this island.
She had lost her vine wraps and flower crown when she found herself on the island. They must've gotten lost at sea. She had to make herself a new accessory to wear, because she already didn't look like she fit in with the wolves here.
She took some strands of dried grass out of the ground and wove them together, using her natural Summer Tribe crafting skills. She had successfully made a string. She then went over to a crystal that stuck out of the ground, this one an icy blue. She plucked a chunk off of the crystal and wrapped the string around it. She put the string around her neck.
She had made herself a crystal necklace.
She walked around the island more. More trees, multicolored crystals, and strange wolves. She saw a den dug into a small mountain, that had holes in the wall that were open to the air. There were cribs sitting by the wall, and in the center sat a large pink crystal. The cave was filled with pups, some sitting in cribs, others play-fighting on the ground. Adults were in the cave too, walking around and searching each pup as if they were planning which one to adopt.
Which they were. This was an adoption center. She knew because Summer Territory has one too, but Summer Territory's adoption center wasn't as decorated. It didn't have cribs, or crystals. It was just a small den, with holes in the walls open to the air, and filled with pups.
This place seemed to be better at crafting than Summer Territory.
Also, the wolves that were in the den looked very different than what she'd seen. Some had tall bat-like ears, others normal wolf ears, others had strange, pointed, flat ears that just laid back all the time. They also had strange patterns on their backs; some had dapples like the ones she'd seen, others had swirls. And some had feathery wings, which she was used to seeing at home, but others had bat wings, and even raptor-like feathers on their backs and long tails.
A white pup went over to her. This one didn't look too strange, she just looked like a white wolf pup. "Hi," she said.
"Hi," said Lily.
"Can you adopt me?" the pup asked.
Lily didn't want to say no. "Sure," she said.
The pup introduced herself as Elisa. Soon Lily was carrying her on her back around the island. Lily asked "What are these crystals for?"
"Different colors represent different elements. Each element balances the island," said Elisa. "The red ones are fire, the blue ones are water, and the green ones are earth,"
"There's two types of blues on this island," Lily said. "I'll show you, I saw a crystal around here somewhere that is a lighter blue,"
It took her awhile to find it, but eventually she found the hill, and at the top, a large icy blue crystal stuck out.
"That one is ice," Elisa said. "I am an ice wolf, and the ice crystals power me and make me stronger,"
"What about the orange crystals?" asked Lily.
"Those ones are healing," said Elisa.
"What about the purple ones that are all over the dead looking area over there?"
"Those are black magic,"
"What about the pink ones?"
"Those are love,"

they spent the day learning the types of crystals, and when night fell, they found a caved-in area with red crystals sticking out of the wall to sleep in.
