Internships-A short alliance

two hours earlier.....

Mirio: "hmm...come on man...where are you?" as he looks around the quirkless district...once he and the others found out about Izukus disappearance...or kidnapping...they went cloud nine on it...of course they cannot disclose this information to the public...for reasons...he continues to look as he sees a white blur running in the alleyway...
Mirio: "huh?!" and he goes after it...running to what seems to be a child standing there...crying...her hand bandaged up...and she looks like she is in real pain 
Mirio: "hey...hey come here...I'm not going to harm you" 
Eri: "a...n..." she tried escaping again...but then 
"Eri" flinching from her name being called...as she looks to see a large man grabbing her hand 
"what did i say about running off...I almost lost you...thank you...her mother would kill me if i had lost her" 
Mirio raised an eyebrow: "She's your daughter" 
"yes...no if you excuse me we need to get back" 
Eri looks at him...then back at Mirio...
Mirio: "If you say so...where did she get those bandages" 
"oh you know...kids...they love to roughhouse and such...it's normal" 
Mirio: "not to a point she has bandages all over her arms" 
"look...she's had a bad accident with some bad people alright?...i've been keeping an eye on her for this" 
Mirio: "right...because this is normal" 
"whatever...come on Eri...your mother would like to speak with you about your actions" and she shivers...picking her up he walks away now...
Mirio: 'no...what do i do?' remembering that Nighteye said to him...so despite his urges...he let them go

present time 

Nighteye: "that's it?" 
Mirio: "yes sir...Izumi was on another route during the time...but...i just...wished i could've done something" 
Nighteye: "well...there's nothing to change it...what happened...happened...You just found the so called daughter of the Yakuza leader...overhaul" 
Mirio: "the Yakuza?" 
Nighteye: "they've been trying to revive their gang for quite some time...I've been keeping a close watch on them...and they aren't to be messed with...the situation is fragile and complex..now...about your friend...the guardian" 
Mirio perks up now..eager to await for any information regarding his friends kidnapping 
Nighteye pulls out a file with a couple of pictures in it...and it shows izuku chasing after something...into the alleyway he vanished in...
Mirio: "i don't get it" 
Nighteye: "You don't see it...look again" as he scans through the pictures...he looks...and then..
Mirio: "Wait...those footprints...the rags...it's...it's that girl Eris!" 
Nighteye slowly nods: "so...we can confirm...that the Yakuza has the Guardian imprisoned in their hideout...the spy i deployed in their hasn't be able to get a clearing on getting info to us...but i'm sure it's going to arrive...as for Izumi yagi" 
Mirio: "...hmm...why did you even intern her sir?" 
Nighteye: "she has something that requires me to do it...otherwise i would've never considered doing this...Red riot and Ryukyu are taking their groups to takeout the other small hideouts in the city...I'm sure we'll be able to get more information regarding this mess...for now...I suggest you take Izumi and Bubble girl with you on another patrol" 
Mirio: "yes sir...damn it...could...could i at least tell Nejire?" 
Nighteye shakes his head: "it would only put more pressure on her...worrying her now with the new information will cause her to lose focus...i will tell her" 
Mirio: "alright...*sigh*" 
Nighteye: "you may leave now Togata" 
Mirio: "thank you sir" and he gets up to leave the room now...exiting the room now he sees Izumi is there waiting for him
Izumi: "so what's going on?" 
Mirio: "...we're gonna have to wait...right now we need to get bubblegirl and head out on another patrol again." 
Izumi: 'right" and they set off on their end of the patrol

Nighteye: "hmm...how much you have grown Izuku...I'm sure hisashi would be proud...however...I worry for the image your going to leave yourself with once you do...claim your vengence" looking into the future...he sees the entire area engulfed in flame...and then...izuku standing in the middle of it all...laughing maniacally...not knowing what those monsters did to him...to snap his mind like that...hopefully this outcome...isn't true" 
Nighteye picks up his phone and dials a number...as he waits for the phone to be picked up from his end...he looks outside at the sun setting in the distance...
Nighteye: "It's me...i need you to come on down now...I'm sure they understand the situation once i debrief them...no that's not an option...just get down here" and he hangs up...getting up with his cane opening a drawer to bring out a specific file and he reads through it...to analyze and see if there is any detail left out...
