Grant's confession earned a lot of different opinions—some are positive but most are negatives. Fans are getting crazy about it. They are dying to know who the girl is. Aside from that, they are accusing him of being pa-fall because apparently, Felice Acosta fell in love with him.
It also doesn't help how this Felice acts in front of fans. She even posts a lot in her social media with cryptic messages.
How messy.
"Taken na pala yung crush ko," Lia commented. She turned off the TV and finally gave me the attention I was asking her earlier.
"You're crushing a lot of men, Lia. Don't you have someone you really like?" I asked.
Lia snorted and rolled her eyes. "Wala. Dios ko," sagot niya. "Anyway, back to our topic earlier. I already contacted Sophie and luckily, she's up to do our plan. But of course, it comes with a price," she said.
"Tell her I will pay her fifty thousand as a signing contract and when she succeeds, I will give her another fifty thousand," I said.
Grant might have confessed that he has someone he's committed to already. And I know, somehow, that it might be me he's referring to. But I choose to refuse to believe that part where he said that that someone already has his heart. I don't. I choose not to. But I'm sure he's committing to the arrangement more than to the person. I knew that his utmost concern here is the inheritance he will get once the wedding happens.
"You will pay her that much?" Lia asked.
"I'm willing to pay just so I could be free from that goddamn arrangement," I replied.
"That's a hundred thousand in total, Abrielle!" she said.
"I know."
"Do even have that amount of money?"
I rolled my eyes, feeling offended. "I have, Lia. I have savings, okay?"
Lia arched her brow, squinted her eyes on me but eventually shook her head. "I will tell her. And a contract? Are we going to write a contract or such for this?"
"Yes. We need a contract just to make sure. I will have it ready by the weekend. Will she be available by that time?"
"I will ask."
"Great! We're set then," I replied.
Now that my mother knows that I am back—which she surely has told Grant's family—I need to move faster. I have to plan this thoroughly and make sure the execution is going perfectly. I had to make sure Grant would fall in love with someone else. In that way, he, himself will do everything for the arrangement won't happen. That was the only hope I had to be free from goddamn arrangement.
That's what I did the next day. I was carefully planning the contract. I want it to be well-planned and clear for both sides. I even highlighted a section where it states that no one should know about our contract aside from me, Lia, Sophie, and the attorney who will notarize the contract.
I don't want anyone to know that I planned it. Especially Grant. He doesn't have to know.
"Have you watched his interview?" Aydan suddenly popped out from behind me. Almost making me jump from my seat.
"Oh, god." I said, holding on my chest. "You startled the shit out of me," I told him and this guy just laughed.
"I'm sorry," he said. "So, have you watched his interview?" he repeated.
I sighed, creasing my brow, pretending that I didn't know what he was talking about. "Whose interview?"
Aydan smirked. "Grant. He had a live TV guesting last night after he was discharged from here. He was asked if he's in a relationship and he said he wasn't," he said.
