I just wanted to say this before you start reading: check your heart daily. We're in the end times and God will judge off the contents of your heart.

Repent quickly when you make a mistake, pray earnestly, and forgive others because we were all forgiven by Jesus Christ.

Get rid of idols and man-made gods of your heart (which can be as simple as TV, phones, or food).

Three simple commands I try to follow are from James 4:7-8 "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and He will come near to you."

God loves you and no evil deed will drive Him away.

I love you and God bless you❤️❤️.

"Come on now, you really don't know what happened," Kassima tells Celai from her bedroom door.

Celai ignores her and continues ranting. "I just feel so embarrassed and stupid. I'm literally a rebound, that's all I am to him."

"You don't know that, he seemed to really like you," Kassima says.

"Yeah, he seemed to like me. Did you see the girl? We look just alike. He only liked that I looked like her. I should've known; he never noticed me before," Celai says, her heart breaking as the words ring in her ears.

"He could just have a type. That's not always a bad thing," Kassima says, trying to disarm Celai's anger. But it's useless.

"It still doesn't cover the fact that he lied and used me as a rebound."

"How did he lie?"

"He was tryna tell me he's never been in a relationship, but if he was doing the same thing with me— spending as much time together as possible— and he and Demetria had three dates, there's no way they weren't exclusive. I've been talking to him for a little under a month and it's felt like so much longer because he was going out his way to do this and that. But all of it was fake."

Kassima crosses her arms. "I'm not gonna let you sit here and badmouth this boy when you don't know the full story."

"You can get out."

"Girl, I don't care how mad you are, you better not take that mess out on me, I ain't do nothing to you," Kassima says, quieting Celai in a second. "You can't sit here and be mad at Julian when you haven't heard him out. You've ignored his texts and calls all day because you're mad but you won't let him explain. Let me ask you something: do you know that girl personally? How do you know she didn't make that stuff up?"
