After a long day of getting yelled at by directors and producers and other random people, all Bern wanted to do was order take out, take a shower and cuddle with Bobby, the love of her life. At the moment, that was the only thing that ever comfort her. Bobby was her home. Anywhere that he goes, she goes. After filming was done for the day, she grabbed her stuff and practically ran to her car. The drive home was slow due to traffic but eventually she got herself to Bob and her little beach house. She knew that Bobby would be home (he was on leave), and she chuckled to herself at the thought of him trying to make dinner by himself.
When she turned back around after closing the front door, she saw Bob pacing around the living room. He only does that when he's got something serious on his mind. "Honey?" Bern says. As he looked up at her, she saw something in his eyes she had only seen once before, and that had been when he was being deployed. "Bernadette I gotta talk to you." he rushed over to her. Bernadette? Oh gosh, whatever he's gotta say had to be bad. The tone of his voice reminded her of when she has done something bad and had to come clean to her momma. "Bobby what's going on your scaring me!" He grabbed her hands and softly squeezed them. "I'm being sent back to TOPGUN darlin." Bob stated apologetically. He looked into her eyes as he said it and he looked like he was gonna cry. Bern knew that this was part of being a military wife and that Bobby was the best of the best and he deserved to go and do what he loves but that didn't mean it wasn't hard saying goodbye to her husband for months on end with the chance of never seeing him again. Luckily since the two got married, (about two years ago) he had only been deployed once. "Bobby look at me, I-I... we'll figure this out, okay?" Bern says. "Okay." Bob agrees pulling Bern a heartfelt kiss.
