ARROW BERLINArrow sits in her father's office, making a line through the layer of dust that had collected on his desk. Arrow was shocked to learn that Elmann had kept the room as it was, not taking it over nor letting anyone have access to it. Though her memory of the specifics was a little fuzzy, the room did look the same. The coat of dust on its top attests to its lack of inhabitants.
Sent there to wait as Elmann had an impromptu meeting, Arrow thought about her situation. She wondered if her uncle sending her here was all part of his ploy - Recalling how he'd changed the code when she first tried keeping him out.
Arrow thinks long and hard, trying to come up with any plausible explanation for her uncle and what he was doing. Sure this act was leading up to something, but what.
Getting up from her seat, she paces in circles in the room, she thinks about him insisting she rejoin the organization. Arrow had to admit, she wanted to learn more about this new Lycan drug and what it did to them. The guy, whose name she still did not know, made it seem as if he couldn't fathom the fact she knew nothing about the drug. It made Arrow wonder just how bad the situation was.
All the information she needed resided within the organization. Ezra was the only one she knew outside whom she could go to. She wondered how much he knew. Realizing the organization will undoubtedly have more details. However, Arrow knew without a doubt that asking questions would lead back to the point of rejoining the organization.
Leaving without information seemed like the wrong move to make. Especially if the situation is as rampant as they make it seem. "But..." Arrow says out loud to herself. "There's always leaving Tares."
Her sentence has her stopping abruptly to wonder. Could she really leave Tares City and hunting behind? She'd said it many times before and believed each one yet her she stood wondering if she could truly live elsewhere.
Not hating hunting like her brother, but still, aware of the consequences hunting brought into her life. Could she truly give it up?Arrow sighs as she wonders which would be the best course to take
Could she want to risk rejoining the organization and being under her uncle's command?
Could she leave and start a new life away from hunting?
Could she survive this new Tares City Lycan threat on her own?
~
A knock and the sound of the door opening pull Arrow out of her thoughts.
"Hey. Your uncle sent me. He says it's going to be a while so you should head home and think about what he said about," The guy from earlier says to her leaning against the door frame.
"Okay," Arrow answers dismissively.
"He also wants me to give you a crash course in all things new around here and out there. So how about tomorrow?" He adds, sounding the least bit enthusiastic.
"Why you?" Arrow comments with a tilt of her head.
He gives her a shrug in response, letting out a loud sigh. "Yes or no?" He asks in annoyance.
"No," Arrow responds firmly.
"No?"
"No,"
"I'm curious. Why the hell not? You are obviously out of your element here. You know nothing about nothing," The guy says, slight confusion in his tone.
"I'd rather not be in your company more than necessary," Arrow replies placing a hand on her hip. "Your attitude sucks and quite frankly, it's annoying. I'll get my information elsewhere."
