"Then I am breaking off our wedding, Hia Lian" Kuea chest out those words. He was truly disappointed and hurt by Lian's words. Only up to this day, Kuea has finally chosen himself. For the times he tried to be closer to Lian. The guy who was fixed marriage to him since he was young. Eventually, he was at the right age. He started to chase Lin and make him fall in love with him just like he was to him.

But Kuea got broken hearted hearing Lin that he is only marrying him because he promised his grandfather to take care of him. Making clear he was doing it all along because it was his duty.

Kuea was lifted to his home from Lian's office. He was just silent the whole ride. Thinking he wanted to take back those words but it already happened. Perhaps he has done the favor already to Lin. He doesn't want to get married if the person doesn't feel the same as him.

Kuea was in their hideout called Dragon Lair. It was a house that Kuea's grandfather gift to him. No one knows except for his best friend Kon Diao.

"Kuea~" Kon Diao arrived and he dropped his things on the floor. He runs towards his best friend. Crying all over his face. He hugged him so tight. Kuea cried, even more, when he felt his best friend's presence.

He pats his friend back. It's always the time of the week when Kuea texts him "SOS" which means something happens again to Kuea and Lian's date.

"I break off our wedding" he announced to him. The lad didn't process those.

"What?? What did you just--" he was so confused. He observed Kuea's expression to see if he was kidding or what.

"Diao... I called off..." Soft pale boy was about to cry again. Clearing it from himself hurt himself enough of it.

"Wait... why?? How?? What happened??" his best friend tapped his back and got curious about what just a sudden act he had done.

"I just blurted it out... But honestly, it's just good that I said those. Hia Lin doesn't even like me. Even an ounce of it" his tears falling down his cheek. Diao wiped it off with his bare thumb.

"You said you will make him head over heels for you" he didn't know what to say or add more. But now he is looking at his crying face, which was enough to know he is not okay.

"I am just delusional. I thought about all of those things we shared, what we do, and those times when we were still young. I thought he felt the same way as me. But it wasn't"
