Flashback...

"No, but... you haven't cooked noodles for yourself?" Diao was surprised by the fact his newfound friend didn't even know to cook properly noodles.

"Nah, don't make me feel bad about it. It was just back in Thailand when I was young they never let me near the kitchen, that's why even the simplest task in the kitchen I have no idea about it" Kuea actually feels sad about that fact. He can't even take care of himself.

"I know being Keerati was a big deal. But don't worry. I'll always cook you noodles. I am going to be your personal chef" Diao made an oath. That made Kuea a little emotional. He was so touched by it. He couldn't help but hug Diao.

"Let's be friends. No... let's be best friends, Kon Diao!" he happily asked Diao. The little lad only smiles at his thoughts.

He was the first person who actually befriended him. Since he came alone to England. He feels delighted that for the first time someone wants to be friends with him.

End of Flashbacks...

"I don't want us to be friends"

Kuea sneaked out from Lian's house every other night. He just discovers another exit in the house that he feels that Lian won't even notice him getting out of his house. He has to make it quick to go back from the dragon's lair. He paid a visit to Diao at his place.

Kuea subtly made it up to Diao since that day he walked away from him. That made him sneak every night to see Diao and he is been doing this for two weeks now.

He was glad to see that Diao was in the kitchen as he does usually was, he is busy cooking some food for himself. He didn't notice Kuea's sudden presence. He smiled at his thoughts, his beloved Kuea was here now.

He excitedly turned around to look at Kuea.

His eyes widen to see Kuea standing in front of him. The more days goes by Kuea looked more charming that made Diao's poor heart melt.

"You've been here for two consecutive nights?" Kuea scoffed at the air then he walked towards Diao.

"Of course, I miss you" Diao didn't even flinch when Kuea leaned his face towards him. But he lost it when Kuea smirked at him.

His heart was pounding so hard right now. But he has to act cool about it.

"We just saw each other last night" Diao trying hard not to get caught in his feelings. Especially now his getting more butterflies in his stomach.

"I really did miss you. I want you always by my side. I get to a point where I asked myself. Do I really want to be friends with you?" Diao was stunned to suddenly Kuea's voice switched to serious. He was looking into his eyes.

"Kuea---" he was cut off when Kuea pulled him in a warm hug. Diao was stunned again.

He is hearing his heartbeat was so loud as his heart also beating so fast.

"I was so afraid Diao. At first, I feel so wrong about having this feeling toward you. I know we've been friends for so long. And you are always there to protect me and always comfort me whenever things are not okay for me. I feel that I shouldn't do things that can make me lose you. My confusion went to realization. That I am no longer in love with Hia Lian" he pulled out from a hug. While Diao was speechless. He won't know what to say.

"I don't care anymore but I just want you to know that I can't be friends with you. Because I already fall in love with you" Kuea knows to himself that he crossing the line, he is also aware that things will mightly be different right now.
