Bonus Chapter

It was a warm but cloudy day. Today was kind of a big day for Lian, he finally gave in to the blind date that his friends kept offering to him. It's been months since he migrated to New York to manage their newly expanded business base in New York. 

Nervously he walked into the restaurant where he booked a reservation for his date. He managed to get inside and went to their table. 

"Good afternoon sir, what can I do for you" The waiter attended to him and was about to give their menu book.

"Can I have a glass of water? I'll order when my date arrives" 

"Okay sir" the waiter left him. His phone vibrated from his pocket so he immediately checked on it.

"Yes hello?" he answer it.

"I am on my way" he got chilled when he heard how soft her voice was.

"No problem. Uhm I just got here" he said in a calm tone.

The call ended and the waiter already got his water. He nodded at him and left him. While waiting for her to arrive he browsed to his phone. He checked Instagram, as he scrolled on it. His eyes are fixated on Kuea's latest post. He unknowingly clicks on his profile and scrolls to his feeds. He checked every picture he uploaded there, even though he had seen that already. He can't just help to check him. He still wants to know if things are okay with him.

"Lian?" he immediately turned off his phone and kept it away from him. He turned to the person who called him. His eyes widen.

"Yi?????" he can't believe all the people and all the places he could've been. They bumped into each other here.

"What are you doing here? And since when did you get here?" Yi sat in front of Lian to get a little chit-chat with him.

"I just arrived a few days ago. I'm here for vacation by the way" he answer.

"You didn't tell me, I should have shown you around here"

"Nah, we are both busy in our lives and yeah I am about to tell you anyway"

"You're with someone?"

"Yep, I am meeting my friend here. What about you?"

Lian got shy for a minute when he was about to tell him he had a blind date. Yi chuckled while he was shaking his head. "You're having a blind date? Right?" he scoffed as he teased him.

Lian getting red when Yi started to tease him like that. "Shut up. How did you know?"

"So I am right?" he sneered. "I mean judging from your look and choices of a restaurant"

"Nosy" Lian could only say. He knew Yi for a long time and obviously, Yi knew him for a time so he can easily read Lian.

"Anyway, I am going to my table. Good luck to your date" he scoffed again and Lian got a little pissed and jokingly aimed to punch him.

"Get lost" he shook his head and chuckled. He watched Yi going to his table and he saw that the table was just opposite the two of them.

After a few seconds, Yi's friend arrived and sat with Yi. Lian stares at them for a second and he minds his own business. Minutes later, finally, Lian's date was here.

A gorgeous woman walks towards Lian. He recognized her quickly cause he saw her pictures already on her Instagram profile. 

"Hi, I am so sorry I am late" she apologized as she sat in front of Lian.

"No it's okay... by the way I am Lian Kilen Wang" he extends his hand for a handshake.

"Amelia... Amelia Rodriguez" She grabbed his hand and handshake him.
