"You can just drop me there" Kuea tonelessly told Lian's driver slash secretary, Foei. He pulled over the car. Foei only observed the two by glancing secretly in the mirror above him.

He felt the cold tension between the two of them the whole time he was driving.

Kuea was about to get off to Lian's car. He grabbed him by his arm which made him stop. He eyed Lian and only looked at him with emotionless eyes. "I'll pick you up later, after your class?" Lian gives up and tries to break the wall between them.

"No need, I'll be home late" Kuea cold insisting response to him.

"Then tell me what hours, and I'll adjust my schedule" but Lian is persistent to get Kuea's attention back.

"Hia Lian, I'm good. Please" he excuses himself and he gets out of his car. He didn't bother to look back to Lian to bid goodbye to him.

"Let's go," he told Foei and they immediately drove away from Kuea's campus.

Kuea didn't pay attention to his class. He didn't even know he got into a group project and luckily it was all friends.

"Kuea~"

He just snapped out and he was confused why all of his friends looking at him like that.

"You're not listening are you?" Nunchy almost had enough. "Please Kuea, we got you in a group so please get your attention to us"

Kuea only nodded. He felt embarrassed for a moment.

Tony pat his back. "We'll talk to you later. Let's deal with this project assigned to us.

Kuea beamed a smile. He was so relieved that his friend still understand him.

Past five minutes after discussing the member's role and the parts that were distributed to each member.

"Can I join your group??" Syn automatically turned his head to him.

As always he gave him a fierce look but Nuer didn't even feel threatened.

Nunchy the leader of the group disrupted and narrowed her eyes at Nuer.

"Well Nuer, we are almost done talking about the distribution of the project," she told him.

"Yeah, Why are you late?" Jaab curious asked him.

"Something happens while on my way. Anyway, I talked to the professor earlier and he told me that I'll ask Kuea's permission to join your group" Nuer directly explain.

All their eyes again went to Kuea. Again he was so puzzled. "But I am not the leader of this group" He eyed Nunchy. But she raised up her hand.

"Okay, let's do a vote. Raised their hands if they are not favored to Nuer join our group"

Tony and Syn telepathy raised their hand at a time.

"So who's for favor??" Nunchy asked again. She raised her own hand and Jaab do the same also.

"So it's a tie. So Kuea you'll break the tie" Nuer tries to convince Kuea with his almost puppy eyes look.

While Syn and Tony shake their head to Kuea. Saying that they don't want him here.

"I am favor. Let's just go. So we can finish this already" Nuer was so happy and he seated beside Kuea.

Nunchy continues to discuss the group plan. On the other hand, Syn was just looking at Nuer. He can't explain his feeling. But one thing was clear to him. He doesn't want to see Nuer and Kuea together.
