Nuer and Syn have been hanging out together since they have the same task given by Nunchy. At first Syn was hesitant to open himself more to Nuer. Besides he has had weird feelings whenever he was up close to Nuer, he can't help himself feeling intimidated by him.

It was almost nine in the evening. They are still debugging the system they are working on together. Syn was lost whenever he try to debug it. Nuer sense something wrong and he observes him for a second. Until he step forward and gave Syn hands.

"Let me do this" Nuer switched Syn's laptop and face the screen in front of him. Syn can't do anything but observe Nuer do his own thing. He leans his chin against his hand. All his eyes were on Nuer.

Feels like he was dragged by him. He was looking at every detail he had on his face. From his hair to the tip of his nose, his eyes, down to his lips.

"Syn!!!" he came back to his senses when he felt his warm palm now on the left side of his cheek. He didn't know that Nuer lean his face close to him already.

"Still on earth??" he silly smile at him.

"Oh god, he's so cute"

Nuer didn't fade his smile and he was staring at Syn's confused face.

"Where are we now??" he casually just ignored what just happen and pretend he was focusing on the screen of his laptop. But he can't seem to focus.

"I already figured out the missed code. It's working already. So... let just called it a day" Syn was disappointed to know that their time together already finished. As time goes by, their project will be finished soon. There's no reason he will be with Nuer.

"Why long face?? Are you not happy we finally made it" Nuer asked him in a calm tone. He just shrugged and he avoided him by fixing their things in his bag.

Syn wanted to give himself a head smack for being so obvious to him.

They walked out from the cafe they'd been staying for making the project.

"Nuer..."

He doesn't want to go home again and he will overthink this again.

"Hmm" he turned to Syn.

"Do you really like Kuea?" he knew it was a stupid idea but he already asked it. He can't just take it back.

Nuer was trying to hide his smile and he just go with the flow with his serious face.

"Why??? Do you like Kuea too?" Nuer gave him back the question.

That made Syn shocked for a bit and he shook his head.

"Of course I like Kuea, he is a friend of mine and I care about him. But I don't like him in that way" ... the person I like was you Nuer...

"Then that's good know..."

Syn gave up. Looks like Nuer likes Kuea that much. Because why would he ask Syn if he likes Kuea too? Seems like he wanted to know who is competing.

"I never thought that love could hurt me like this, I hope I stop myself from liking you more"

He turned his back and he is ready to walk away from Nuer. But Nuer only let a smile on his face.

His heart was beating so fast at this moment.

"... cause I am actually hitting on you Syn"

"You're late again" Lian was sitting on the couch. He still wears his suits from work. Seems like he didn't get changed and proceeded to wait for Kuea to come home.

Kuea sighed as he just continues his walking upstairs.

"What am I to you Kuea?" Lian started to throw questions at him. Kuea stopped at his place and turned his back to him.

"What do you think?" Kuea coldly asked him back.

"You think I would never know that you've been sneaking out every night"  Lian stand up and he walk towards Kuea.

His eyes can't lie. He can't hide his feeling right now.

"You know Kuea if you getting back at me for doing those to you. I hope you know that I regret it and I want to make it up to you" Lian almost begged on his knees but he stopped him from doing that.

Kuea felt guilty and he wanted to do it. He took his both hands.

"Hia Lian, take me back to my home. There's nothing happened, this makes things worse for us" he hold his hand firmly.

"I can change. I can do better. Just please let me do this" Lian was about to touch Kuea's cheeks but Kuea avoid it.

"What just happen to us?" Lian felt frustrated. He just can't do anything, he can't make Kuea pleased anymore.

Kuea bitterly smiles at him.

"People change so their feelings too. I am not your Kuea anymore"

Lian was shaking his head. He doesn't want to hear it. Knowing he knew it and feel it the way Kuea treated him.

"I know you are invested in motorbikes, you were renting the circuit, and you are also kirin who is the famous performer at Gemini's club. You think I won't know that" Lian once investigated Kuea and he found out those. At first, he can't believe his beloved Kuea was doing those. By time that makes him even more special to him.

"Yeah, it was me. That was me. That was part of me" Kuea whole chested told him. He knew that one day Lian will know more everything about him.

"And I accept that" Lian grabbed Kuea's hand and put it on the left side of his chest.

"I have to admit that I purposely hide it from you because I don't want you to disappoint me. Because the Young Master Kuea you know was not really like that. And now I want to be more honest with you..." Kuea gets all his courage. Hoping Lian will get his message now.

He wanted to be finally free...

"Kuea..."

"I am not in love with you anymore. Maybe in the past. But things go differently and I am not marrying you"

He wants to be with Diao... freely...

"Kuea..."

"Please let me go, Hia Lian..."

"Let me go already, Lian. I already let you go..."
