"Mom... do I have really to go??" it was past four am in the morning. Since he woke that early. He didn't bother to sleep again and called his mother was currently in the United Kingdom. He is so bothered about what will happen later when Hia Lian takes him.

"Son, Lian requested me this one. I can't just say no. Besides, knowing he did ask me first for this was a great move. I know he will take care of you. I can sense that" Kuea sighed for a moment he knew he can't do anything about it.

"But Mom..." he wants to protest but...

"You know Kuea, your father and I can't wait to see you marry the person you love. Sending you off to that person we know you'll be with forever" his mother's sweet words soften Kuea. He knew his mother was so supportive since he admitted to her that he is in love with him. But the thing is everything just changed.

"I have to tell you something" he cleared his throat. While his eyes were fixated on his luggage and his belongings. He still feels hesitant, to tell the truth to them.

"Hmm what is it??" his mother patiently waited for what he was about to tell in the line.

"Nothing uhm take care of yourself mom. I missed you and dad. I'll call you soon. I love you mom" Kuea just stop himself and he can't just ruin his mother's happiness for him.

"I love you too son" his mother felt something wrong with his son based on his voice. But then on they bid goodbye before Kuea dropped the call.

His tear fell down his cheek. He didn't even notice he was now crying.

His phone rang and he thought it was his mom.

He wiped his tears and composed himself. He doesn't want to make Diao worried about him.

He clears his throat and answers the call.

"Do you talk to your mom already?" Diao asked straight forward Kuea.

"Yes, but I can't tell her that I broke the engagement. She really looking forward to me with Hia Lian living under one roof" Kuea doesn't know what to say. He is so torn right now. This feels so wrong.

"Do you really want to go?" Kuea felt Diao's word were sad. While Diao on the other line didn't know what to feel. He wants to be selfish but he just can't.

"Three days just pass already. That was our deal"

"Well, what suits you" He gave up. He just wants Kuea to decide what he wants.

"Were you okay with this??" he was stunned for a moment when Kuea dropped the question.

"Why are you asking me?" Diao trying so hard to deny but he sounds defensive. Kuea curves a smile on his lips.

"Nothing, it's just you sound so sad, or am I just imagining things" he is now teasing his "best friend" in the other line.

"Yeah, Kuea you're just imagining things. Okay, I'll hang up. I want to sleep" Kuea chuckled.

"Hey, it's already sunny morning. Why are you going to sleep?" he kept teasing the cute lad.

"Yes, 'cause I am sleepy. Bye~" he hugged up. Kuea widens his eyes.

"Is he jealous???"

He is giggling and rolling on his bed. He knew how his day went fine whenever Diao was around.

Past Nine in the morning when Lian came to Keerati Mansion to pick up Kuea. Lian saw Kuea silently follow him around. He didn't look at him the way he always did. He kinda misses it. His attention to him. It slowly fades away. But he kept in his mind he would make sure he would make it up to him.

Now after proving that he is suited to marry Kuea. Right now he is now going to prove his feelings to him.

They came to a secluded, well-built house. Kuea was amazed to look at every detail it had from the outside. Until they came in, he was stunned by the modern built home like this. He was staring at the pool outside.

Lian smiled seeing his beloved lad enjoying sightseeing at their house.

He back hugged him but Kuea made it startled and made him panic. He moved and tries to escape from his hug. Lian awkwardly releases Kuea from a hug.

He composed himself and act as if nothing happen.

"I've been eyeing this house and bought it a long time ago for preparing our marriage. But I just can't wait for it. That's why I moved in you here with me" he started. It's been hours since they were together but Kuea didn't give him any words.

"This house was quite big for two people though" he finally spoke but he didn't give Lian a look.

"Not as big as your mansion" he sarcastically answered but his little lad didn't bother and he began to walk away from him.

He goes after him and took his wrist. He dragged him in front of a door

Kuea puzzled face looked to Lian. He gave him a sign to open the door.

"This was your room" after he open it they both enter the room.

It was a wide space room for only one person. He goes to the closet to check it. It was full of modern suits that usually Lian wore to his work.

"Why are your clothes here??" he asked Lian but then he found himself pinned against the door of the closet. Lian's face was so close to Kuea's. Their lips almost brush with each other.

Lian controlled himself not to devour the younger lad's lips.

"Get off me Hia" he was pushing him so hard in his both arms but Lian was stronger than him.

"Why are you shy? We're going to be married soon. This was a normal thing for married people." he began to make Kuea uncomfortable. Kuea kicked Lian his knee and he responded to it.

It made his chance to get away from him. He immediately leaves him in that room. He look to another room, luckily he found a room that it looks like it was built for him. He locked the door so Lian could never get near him.

He hears the knock on the door.

"Kuea. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do that" Lian apologized after doing a lot of knocks. In the end, he let Kuea in that room.

Lian feels frustrated and at the same time, he just wants his little Kuea to come back to him.

He only sat beside the door of the room where Kuea entered. He felt drained and he eventually fell asleep while leaning against the wall.

After an hour of hiding. Kuea decided to come out from the door thinking that Lian went off to his work.

He didn't notice Lian outside cause Kuea went straight to the kitchen to find something to eat. But he didn't find anything to eat.

Lian woke up and notice the door was open. He looks inside and there's no sign of Kuea. So he quickly suspected that he went to the kitchen. And he is not wrong in his hunch.

"Kuea..." he called off his name.

The lad was surprised to hear his voice.

He walks towards Kuea.

"Why are you doing this Hia Lian?" he turned his back to him.

Lian paused and he stay in his place. He met Kuea's eyes and he didn't see anymore his longing eyes on him.

"You know I regret that night" Lian started. "I told you that I didn't love you when in fact it was a lie. Cause all this time. I was busy building myself perfectly. Perfect to be your husband. But I was so dumb after all doing those. That made me distant from you. I didn't know that I made a wall between us. I love you Kuea"

Kuea was confused. He went speechless. He didn't know what to say. Like finally Lian also feels the same way as he is.

"But why didn't feel anything? I should be happy right??? Like Hia, Lian likes me too. Why this made me feel it was  a burdensome"

Lian make a step and he didn't think of anything. He just grabbed Kuea's face and kissed him.
