Chapter 32|Lost love

Anisa didn't waste another minute as she ran to Meenah's house. She couldn't be more glad that she didn't meet anybody on her way as she ran to Meenah's room.

"Meenah! Do you know Alamin?" Anisa asked rushing into room.

"Is that your salam?" Meenah asked as she continued to sketch something.

"Sorry Assalamu alaikum, do you know Alamin?"

"Alamin? I know a lot of Alamins" Meenah replied

"Alamin Muhammad Umar?" She asked with a raised brow. "Alamin Muhammad Elbasheer as In Adnan's brother" Anisa added.

"Yes I do. Why did you ask?" Her voice sounded a little bit low as she turned her attention back to her work.

"Just wanna confirm something, what's your relationship with him?" Meenah looked up and gave her the are you serious look but nevertheless she spoke.

"He's actually my ex and my only love" Meenah replied. Now Anisa have realized why Alamin looked familiar the first time she saw him, he was the guy who almost hit her with his Audi that day when she took lily on a walk, he is also the guy who told her about Meenah's return that day.

Now as she taught of it, everything is starting to make sense. From the exchanged looks between Meenah and Adnan to Meenah and Alamin having a similar story. Alamin's ex cheated on him with his best friend and Meenah played her ex's best friend while they were still together...the puzzle is too simply to solve but only if you have an idea about what is happening.

"I'm just curious" Anisa said "I know you're wondering why I'm curious but believe me I'm just curious and I'm bored and I want some gist so" Anisa shrugged at the last part.

"I'm going to tell you not because you're curious but because I don't want you making the same mistake"

"Okay, I'm all ears" Anisa said laying on the bed.

"Well Alamin was my senior and he's among the three stars, well their brothers took after the name now and they added the A cube to it since their names all stars with A"

"Yeah I know" Anisa said motioning for her to go on.

"I was a freshman and him a senior so he literally made my life a living hell, I had a best friend and all she wanted is to date one of the stars but it's sort of obvious they were not interested. After they graduated I felt at ease because there won't be anybody to disturb my life. It was when I was in senior year one day when I received a message from an unknown number it was just a mare hey and I replied with Hi. My intention was to block whoever it is if they ask me how I am but instead of asking me who I am he went ahead and introduced himself as Alamin Muhammad Umar and I don't know him with that name, I know him to be an Elbasheer"

"So he lied about his name?" Anisa asked and Meenah only nodded. Anisa don't know why Alamin hid his real name from her too but she believe it have something to do with Meenah and the guy legit said they have never met before even tho he know they have.

"Chatted almost everyday and I was starting to get attached to him despite the fact that I tried not to. He didn't send me his picture instead he told me that he was ones a student of YSI. He asked me to send him my picture but I refused because I don't even know what he look like so he promised to visit me and the day he did I was surprised to see the guy who made my life a living hell. Asking me to do his works" is that where Adnan learnt it from? He made her do his assignment as a punishment. "Nevertheless I continued to be his friend and when I asked him why he hid his identity, he said it is because he know I'll block him if I know he's the one and that was true. We kept chatting and making phone calls and as we do that, we started to fall in love with each other, I was his first love and he was mine" Anisa could see the emotions Meenah have been bottling. "He proposed to me one day and without hesitation I accepted it. It was after I accepted him that I told my best friend about us and she looked pretty happy. Alamin will mostly take me out on dates and sometimes I'll invite Hadiza while he will invite his friend Hamid. Hadiza will always throw herself at hamid but the guy will ignore all her signals and one day she manned up and told him her feelings"
