" Sometimes I forget that your brother is a major nerd, he really does come in handy. "

  ~ Y/n's POV ~

The day dragged on, Charlize walked home but she would be back with our other friends so that we could have a sleep over considering we hadn't had one of those in a while.
I was restocking out fridge and cabinets with the stuff that I had bought before my mom walked into the kitchen and sat at the island, I looked over at her after she cleared her throat for me to look at her.

    "What's up?"

I questioned as I finished settling everything away, I really don't like doing chores but I do them because well, that's something all teens and children do.
Although I'm an actress, that doesn't mean you're not supposed to participate in cleaning your room or doing things that other teens are supposed to do, I always question why people act as if celebrities aren't supposed to act like normal human beings.

My mother smiled at me and took out her phone to show me a message that she has gotten, it was from my agent and turns out she had an audition for me for a new horror movie.
I looked at my mom and then back at the phone to reread the message as if I was hallucinating but turns out I wasn't.

"Look, the auditions start at five ten, if you want to audition then go upstairs and get dressed."

With a squeal that left my lips, I ran up the stairs and quickly opened my closet, I needed to look through it and find the best outfit that I ever owned.
I could hear my mom running around the house to gather her keys and phone so that she didn't lose her mind looking for then when I finished getting ready.

Finally, when I found an outfit that complimented both my body and facial features, I rushed down the stairs with my mini book bag that was packed with my essentials and ran to the front door.
I had black socks on, so I had to hurry and put my shoes on before the dog hair attacked it.

Luna is our Chihuahua, she's a white puppy and she's really sweet, and isn't at all bitey or mean, although she has her moments where she wants to bite someone's toes off, she's still sweet.
When my mom finally entered the living room and rushed to the front door, adrenaline kicked in and I opened the door quickly.

I ran to the white SUV and got in the front seat before pulling my phone out to text my best friends, of course after one text has been sent, there's a call coming in and I can't decline it or I'll get spammed.
So I accepted it and quickly put my airpods in as my friends don't know when to keep their mouth shut and stop thinking with their heads in the gutter.

"No because if you ever need help, Silas is always happy to help you. He says so himself."

Morgan smiled at me, I always loved her smiles, I have told her that before.

" Sometimes I forget that your brother is a major nerd, he really does come in handy. "

I beamed, I put my seatbelt on as my mom got in the car and began to drive off to where the auditions are being held, although my nerves were acting up, I was glad to be on face time with my best friends.
They know how to cheer me up and distract me whenever I needed it.

"Alright guys, I'll call you back after the auditions, wish me luck?"

I smiled as I got out the car and walked to the front entrance, just as I was about to hang up, all my friends screamed good luck and smiled at me.
Sometimes they could blow my eardrums out but they won't care, but at least they'd blow them out with words of care, if that makes sense.

"You'll do amazing sweetie, break a leg and don't get too in your head."

My mom kissed my temple and rubbed my shoulders before pushing me forward to sign in and get my number, I sighed and thanked my mother before signing myself in and getting my number.
I sat down and began to do some small affirmations, I just have to make sure that I don't psych myself out and give my all.

Sometimes all you have to do is pretend you're all alone in your room, and act as if you're doing an audition in front of your stuffed animals, although their beady little eyes can be scary, it doesn't hurt to try.
I mean, it helps me concentrate and give my all.

That's all I have to do, pretend as if the casting directors are my stuffed animals and not bat an eye to messing up.

   Easy, right?
