     Chapter 3,
    Waiting For a Call Back
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    " Please stop talking about him, he's not even that cute."
  ~ Y/n's POV ~
   The auditions were pretty good from my perspective, I made sure to stay out of my head and get out the lines without sounding like an idiot or stuttering an insane amount of times.
   When I walked out of the audition place, I headed straight to the car without looking at anything or anyone.
    "Hey honey, how was the auditions?"
  My mom asked me as I closed the door and quickly put my seatbelt on, I looked at her and waited for her to drive out of the parking lot so that we can talk all about it.
   Sometimes you just gotta wait til you're nowhere near the place you were at before spilling all the details.
    As I began to speak about everything that went down in the auditions, since it was a little tradition to stop by at a diner so that we can eat and talk about a bunch of things, that's what we did.
   The food was always amazing, I always left the diner with a satisfied smile and a filled stomach that made me look as if I was about six months pregnant.
    Nothing unusual happened during the auditions, but I told her the lines that I needed to say and then I explained that the horror movie is called 'Summer Nights' which doesn't sound all that scary if you asked me.
   I was auditioning for the part as Rosemary Jones, the quiet, new neighbor that helps the main character, Elias, out with finding out whose been behind all the murders of the town.
    What can I say? I'm a sucker for horror movies and especially when they're set in the summer, the time line isn't set yet so they just had me pretend that the movie was set in the nineties which wasn't too difficult.
  As we drove back home, I gushed about how much a nap was needed for me and how good it would feel to take a nice warm bath.
    "Are you going to be inviting your friends over?"
   My mother asked me as we got out the car and walked to the house, I shrugged my shoulders before nodding my head as there is a possibility that I'd be asking them over to spend the night, I mean I just wanted to know whether or not I was going to be getting the part of Rosemary.
   Although the callback takes about a day to a month, I always thought that they might call early to tell me that I either got the part or I should have better luck next time as I'm not the person that they are looking for.
    Bad habit for me, I shouldn't be so addicted with getting callbacks from my auditions or jobs,  but the nerves were my favorite thing to feel during these moments, I loved the pacing around my room and tapping things out of anticipation.
   Except, whenever I had my friends over after auditions, they always distract me from doing so, which makes it much more easier and relaxing.
   Considering I didn't actually want to drive myself insane over this callback, I decided to call my friends and tell them to come over for a sleep over, I wanted to watch some movies with them and spend some quality time with them as well.
   "We should watch a good horror movie that was set back in the days and set in the summer, just like the movie you auditioned for."
   Morgan suggested as she took the remote from the middle of the couch and changed the TV, I smiled at her and nodded as she looked around for a good horror movie for us.
  As we clicked around and looked for something that could either knock out socks off or make us cry until we throw up our dinner, we finally came to the conclusion of amazing 'Sleepaway Camp'.
  Not going to lie, that movie freaked me out and was the reason why I never wanted to go to summer camps or ant sleepaway camps, I was too freaked out that my bunkmate was going to kill me.
   I was also afraid of naked people for a good while but I watched this movie when I was like five so you can't really blame me, now can you?
   "Stop because her cousin is so fine that it is so unreal."
    Beatrice drooled as the character walked out of the frame of the screen, I looked at her with a disgusted expression and pretended to vomit which sent a pillow flying straight to my face.
    " Please stop talking about him, he's not even that cute. "
    I stated as I looked back on the screen to focus on what was going on in the movie, I couldn't seem to get my head into it but I still tried anyways.
   It feels like I was rereading a page of a book that was assigned to me but I keep forgetting to actually pay attention to it and have to go back to reread, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about anyways.
    The only thing that was really on my mind was the fact that I was still waiting on the callback, whether it was good news or bad news.
