Me and Robby are waiting at the Olive Garden dad text us saying to meet here for lunch then miguel walks in.

He walks up to us "let me guess your dad invited you guys to lunch to" Miguel says "yep" Robby says I nod "he didn't tell you I was coming" he says "nope" Robby finishes they get up but fuck it I'm hungover and starving so if it's on dad I'm eating.

Then dad walks in "sit down where you going come on sit down hear me out for a minute" he does as Miguel comes and sits next to me and dad pulls a chair from another table and sits at the end.

"All right yeah I lied to get you here after what I saw at the water park I knew you wouldn't come willingly well Damon would've but he's not the problem" he says I salute.

"And I know the three of you are in bitchy moods cause you broke up with your girlfriends and since the whole Mexico thing I felt like at least a small step in the right direction I figure it might help if we went on another little trip" dad says.

"A trip to a mall in chatsworth" Robby says "your body might be in a mall my friend but your tastebuds are about to go on a tour of the old country this guy knows what I'm talking about" the waiter says tapping dad on the shoulder "yes I do" he says.

"It dosent matter where we go the birthplace of culinary delight awaits you want an Alfredo? boom we're in Rome ravioli? Tuscny it is we gotta come back here for the chocolate lasagna cause like baseball and big gulps that's only in America" ne says I'm into it.

Robby and Miguel look pissed still.

"Tell you what I'm gonna get you guys a basket of breadsticks fresh out of the oven I'll come right back done and done" he says and walks away.

"Come on guys that guy give that kind of effort you just sit there looking pissed?" He asks with his arms in the air "it's not his effort im pissed at" miguel says "breadsticks aren't gonna fix this Robby adds.

"I don't know breadsticks sound like heave right about now" I say looking over my shoulder to see if the guys coming.

"See and you spoken like the man who's never had the gardens breadsticks one bite and you'll forget you were ever mad at each other in the first place" dad says "ya I'm never gonna forget that" Miguel tells him "neither am I" Robby finishes they both get up and leave them the guy comes with the breadsticks.

"My man" I say patting his arm and taking a breadstick "well where here might as well Damon you hungry?" He asks me I nod "that's right your always hungry" he says I laugh and eat another breadstick.

I was listening to music and reading when dad knocks on my door I walk out behind Robby "you literally just said he wasn't here" miguel says to dad and Robby takes off his headphones.

"Ya I lied again but it's not my fault you fell for it twice but you guys are right tricking you into lunch wasn't my best effort so I did some interneting found a bunch of strategies to build trust and teamwork through cooperative exercises the least lame one is called an escape room how it works" he says but Robby cuts him off.

"I know what an escape room is and I'm not doing it"  Robby says to dad "ya that goes double for me" miguel says the. Tries to open the door but it won't open.

"I reversed the doorknobs it's locked from the inside and this is the only key" he shows us the key then put it in the garbage disposal and flicks the switch for a few seconds than turns it off.

"And I glued the window shut too no one's getting out unless you work together" he says "ok I get this ridiculous idea but why am I here" I ask as I get a beer from the fridge "because Damon your the bridge your close to both of them so be the bridge" I nod confused and sit down.
