"Mom why do I have to move in with that dick like he doesn't care about me but no you got to leave go be a star in New York" I tell her as we drive to my fathers house I haven't seen him in 2 years and when I did see him last it was at a liquor store my mom and I guess my dad and mom are both alcoholics.

"Damon my sweet boy" she says holding my cheek "I'm not a good mom I'm going to try and make it big to provide for you please understand" she asks as she drives "no I don't understand your ditching me to go party it up" I say she looks at me "believe what you want I love you" she says looking at me "I love you to" I reply we don't talk again until we're in the parking lot of my dads apartment we walked to the front door and he opens and looks at us.

"Clare hi" he says not paying attention to me I cough "hi Damon your getting so big" he says while looking at me "well you would know I've grown a lot in two years" I say smugly "so what are you doing here "well I've taken care of him for 15 years you were only there for one of them so it's time you start to take care of him he's moving in I'm going to New York I love you baby" she says turning towards me giving me a hug she tries to kiss my cheek but I don't let her she smiles and leaves.

"Well we're is my room?" I ask he leads me to the second bedroom my bedroom and try's to catch up truth be told I act like a dick because I enjoy it but if dad will actually be a dad for once I could go for it every kid just wants there dad especially boys.

"What do you like" he ask me "sports mainly hockey rock and karate" I say he looks at me "so you did karate" he asks "yeah I had to leave my old dojo to move here" I tell him he nods "well do you want a new one?" He asks I nod "remember all my old karate trophies Well I started my own dojo again cobra Kai would you like to be my second student?" He asks I nod.

"So who's the other" I ask Miguel he live across from us you will see him tomorrow at our first official practice get to sleep" he says as he closes my door and shuts my light off.

Honestly I'm so happy I did this now maybe finally we can have a normal relationship.

I walk in to the dojo "who are you" a guy asks "I'm Damon" I say "so are you here to learn from mr Lawrence" he asks "yeah I just moved in with him" I say he looks shocked but nods at me ok.

Dad walks in with his gi on and a head band on "so are we going to get the karate pajamas too" Miguel asks and I face palmed "fucking idiot" "QUIET" dad yells as I straighten up "student only speaks when he is spoken to is the understood?" He says to Miguel "yes" dad looks at him then looks at me I'm about to say sensei but he shakes his head "sir?" "Always address. Me as sensei understood? "Yes sensei" we both say.

"Now mr Lawrence what am I wearing" he asks me "a gi sensei" I say looking at him "thank you and you two will both get one when you've earned it now are you two ready to begin your training" he asks "yes sensei" we respond as he flips Miguel to the ground then me.

Miguel groans but I pop straight back up and go into fighting stance "not yet he says to me so I straighten up "now you've learned from a different sensei now you're learning form me lesson one strike first never wait for the Enemy to attack" he says to us as I help Miguel up "well you could have given me a warning "QUIET" he shouts again

When will he learn "we do not train to be merciful here" he says as he circles us "mercy is for the weak, here on the street in competition" he says as he walks back to front and Miguel starts using his puffer "a man confronts you he is the enemy an enemy deserves no mercy, what is the problem mr Diaz?"
