HAPPY NAVRATRI EVERYONE❣️✨❤️

ABHIMANYU DUTTA

"Of course, Mr.Dutta" she replied.

Although my eyes were on the screen, still I can sense that she was pissed.

A chuckle escaped my mouth involuntarily as I shook my head.

Although her resume stated that she was 21 but nobody can believe that she is a day older than 17.

Her small barely shoulder-length hair was making her look more younger.

And who these days makes these childish hairstyles that too for an interview.

Her hair was complete opposite to my Ita's waist-length hair.

But still, their antics were the same. Crazy.

Although I didn't want I can't help but compare them.

They were completely opposite.

Except for their passion for baking.

I am comparing them doesn't mean that I am ready to give my heart to someone else.

It was. It is. And it will always belong to my Ita.

The rest of the day passed in a blur.

I stretched my limbs to calm my sore muscles.

I smiled at the photo frame placed on my desk.

It is from our college days. We were facing the sunset at the beach. Only our backs were visible because we took it using the timer.

I still miss her but I am not as vulnerable as I was 1 year ago. I don't cry anymore.

Instead, I smile and share my entire day with her.

I took my car keys and proceeded toward the parking lot....

"Bhai, you are again late" Ruhi complained as soon as I entered inside.

Yeah, Veer and Ruhi live with me now. And they are finally married. They got married 6 months ago in a court marriage.

"I just wanted you two to get some privacy" I winked at Veer who was lazily lying on the sofa still in his office wears. He came 1 hour before me.

"Oh, we have our room for that" Veer smirked.

"Veer! You are so shameless!" Ruhi shouted at him.

I chuckled at them. They are cute.

"Oh, you don't know Ruhi. Bhai was more shameless. He always used to go behind Adv..." he was laughing but stopped midsentence.

"I am sorry, Bhai" his eyes held guilt.

I shook my head with a small smile.

"Bhai, he has no filter on his mouth" Ruhi glared at him.

"Advaita was and still is a beautiful part of our lives. No need of resisting yourself from talking about her" I smiled patting Veer's shoulder and went inside my room.

"Bhai! I gave water to the mango tree!"

"Bhai! I feed the fishes!"

Both of them shouted. Sometimes I highly doubt they are couples or siblings.

"Thank you kiddos!" I chuckled closing my room's door.

After a relaxing shower, I came to my bed and switched off the lights. The only light was of the moonlight.
