KYLE's POV:
Pag dating namin sa Emergency Room ay agad na inassess ng mga nurses at doctors si Ysabel.
Habang nag aantay ako dito sa may waiting lounge ng Emergency Room nakita ko na lumabas yung personal doctor ni Ysabel mula sa kinaroroonan niya kaya agad ko itong nilapitan.
"Is she okay?" tanong ko kay Doc Bernardino tapos tumango siya bilang sagot
"How about our baby?" nag aalalang tanong ko sa kanya tapos ngumiti siya bigla
"They are both okay! Buti narevive siya agad dahil malaki ang chance na maapektuhan ang baby kapag matagal na tumigil ang tibok ng puso niya. She must be extra careful next time dahil mahina pa ang kapit ng baby. And right now, they are both safe" sabi nung doctor kaya naman naka hinga ako ng maluwag
"Can she breathe now?" tanong ko ulit sa kanya tapos ngumiti siya tsaka siya tumango
"Her ECG results are normal. X-ray is not currently advisable for her because high quality of radiation will affect the baby. We need to be careful since she's on her first trimester" sabi ni Doctor Bernardino sakin
"Then what do we need to do?" tanong ko ulit sa kanya
"We did some examinations on Ysabel and thankfully, everything is normal. She didn't ingest that much water. Her heartbeats are now normal even though her heart stopped beating for a few minutes. But she's okay now! She's breathing fine." sabi ulit ni Doc. Bernardino kaya gumaan na yung pakiramdam ko
"Can I ask what's the reason why her heart stopped?" tanong ko ulit sa kanya
"Ysabel is very sensitive to strong scents and it can easily trigger her asthma, chlorine is an example of it. Her asthma is different from other people. Her asthma attacks is very serious and it can be fatal for her. The reason why she's having a hard time to breathe is because she may not get enough oxygen into her lungs and that can lead her to stop breathing and at the same time heart will stop" pag papaliwanag ni Doctor Bernardino
"That means she already stopped breathing before she fell in the pool?" tanong ko sa kanya tapos tumango siya
"According to what she said, the last thing she remember is when she closed her eyes because she's having a hard time to breathe. She doesn't remember what happened after that" sabi ulit ni Doctor Bernardino na siyang ikinagulat ko
"She's awake?" masayang tanong ko sa kanya tapos tumango lang siya
"She's already conscious and we're moving her to a private room" sabi ulit niya tapos pupunta na sana ako sa kay Ysabel pero bigla akong pinigilan ni Doctor Bernardino kaya tumingin ako sa kanya dahil alam kung may sasabihin pa siya sakin
"Ysabel has been my patient since the day she was born. Her mother did everything to save her, that's why she's a miracle baby but there are some problems because she was born sick and she has a weak heart. Ysabel is just like my daughter and I know very well if she's feeling okay or not" seryosong sabi niya sakin kaya hindi ako makapag salita
"Please, take a good care of her! I hope this won't happened again" sabi niya ulit sakin tsaka na siya tuluyang umalis tapos ako naiwang naka tayo lang dito sa gitna ng hallway
Napaisip ako sa sinabi niya sakin.
What he said is true!! I really didn't take a good care of her! That's why all of this happened.
ERNEST's POV:
"How is she?" tanong ko kay Kyle na kasalukuyang tahimik na naka upo dito sa tabi ko. Kanina pa kami magkasama dito sa hospital room ni Ysabel pero ni isang salita wala sinabi. Hindi ko alam kung bakit sobrang tahimik niya.
