Through the looking glass
She found a new land
An adventure not to pass
So she put her hand
Right through the looking glass
And wandered about with awed eyes
On rather soft velvety grass
Under dazzlingly pretty skies
"I shall stay here forever!"
Said the happy girl
That wasn't to be, however
'cause dreams unfurl
So she woke up with a start
And looked all about
Sighing with a heavy heart
She sat with a pout
But never say never
Someday she would perhaps
See adventure awaits her
Through the looking glass

The end
This one is inspired by an image i took through my spectacles of the beach! After writing this though, i googled the words "Through The Looking Glass" because they sounded awfully familiar, and it is apparently the title of a sequel to Alice's adventures in wonderland. Maybe i shall read it someday
