1. Mango Tree

I begin from a small seed,
And water is what I need.
I grow and grow in the sunlight,
I never take rest even in the night.
I make food all on my own,
'Cause reaching for the sky, I stand alone.
I feed many a hungry beings,
I am more generous than anyone has been.
I give shade in the hot summer days,
To weary travelers who pass by this way.

In the autumn, my leaves I shake down,
When they turn a little brown,
Getting ready for a cold winter,
Which gets so cold my branches freeze and splinter.

You see, it just explains all the more,
That life is full of hardships and bore.
But if one is patient anyway,
It will bear fruit one day.

After the harsh winter comes spring,
The time when all birds take wing,
To find homes to rear their young,
And also the time kids play and have fun
Spring is the loveliest season.
There is never a reason,
To be sad or unhappy any time,
Because those times have some kind of shine

You see, it just explains all the more,
That bad times end in happiness and folklore.
Now I stand proud and tall, ever so free.
My fruits are sweet 'cause I'm the Mango Tree

~The end~
Aye my first poem is uploaded today!! Yaaay!!
This is a poem I wrote 5 years ago, when I was 13 I think. It's fortunately less crappier than many of my childhood poems.😅
