His eyes held the hues of the ocean
I saw the roiling waves in slow motion
His smile flashed bright
Blinding like lightning
On a stormy night
Her laugh rang like a soft bell
On an afternoon laden in a foggy spell
Her cheeks brushed with the color
Of a rosy dawn sky
In a carefree summer
Such beauty overwhelmed my senses
I cant keep up the pretenses
Love is on my mind
Love is in my heart
Truly im in such a bind
Yet i must keep my distance
Much to my utter grievance
I can only admire from afar
Though my love will still burn
Much like a fiery star

Look at me trying out a different rhyming structure! Surely the bravest of ventures into experimental poetry! Lol im just kidding. It was fun to try this rhyme pattern though :D
Anyways, today was just one of those once a blue moon days that i feel hopelessly in love so I had to put those feelings somewhere and so of course, I had to write a poem about it.
