Chapter 28

Jason's Point of View

No this can't be fucking happening. Stupid damn news! 

This was the first time in a long time that I have felt afraid. I was afraid of what Alex was going to do. Of course I could just kill him right now but I bet Maddie and Nate would be managing to hold me back.

"So, let me get this straight Jason. You kidnapped Madison unexpectedly. You kept her with you all this time, you fell in love with her and now she's your girlfriend.? What the fuck is it?" he shouted.

"Alex, it's not his damn fault." Madison protested.

"So it's not his fault that he kidnapped you?" he asked, tilting his head a bit to get a better look at all of us.

"I fell in love with HIM." she said.

"Why? Because he must of tortured you. He must of forced you to love him. Do you love him because you're afraid of getting hurt by him? Is that why?"

"THAT'S NOT TRUE DUMBASS!" she shouted at him, giving him a dirty look. 

"Then why? Why do you love him?!" he threw his hands in the air.

"Even though he took me, I love him. I love him because he makes me feel safe. I love him because he makes me feel special.I love him because he makes me happy. He's sweet, loving, caring and gentle.  He's different from other people. He's a criminal and that doesn't mean he's cold-hearted. I'm in love with him."

I squeezed her hand, letting her know that I felt the same way. 

Alex looked stunned from her response. Yeah dipshit, that's my girl. He didn't answer back for a few seconds.

"That's crazy! And then you guys escape from America and come to Canada to hide from the police? That's not okay! Without telling me what's going on!"

"Alex! Just don't call the police! Okay?" I shouted.

"I can't promise that Jason. I can't."

I jumped up from the couch and pushed him against the wall, taking a fistful of his shirt. I smashed him in the wall hard.

"Don't you dare." I spat at him.

"Fuck you" he struggled to get out of my grip but it was no use. I'm too strong for him.

"Call the police and that will be the last phone call you ever make." I threatened 

"You don't scare me"

"Don't lie." I chuckled. 

"Your scared that you're gonna get caught and lose your girlfriend." 

This was it. With all my strength, I punched in the jaw with my fist. I held his shirt tight to make sure he doesn't escape.

"Jason!" Madison squealed.

Ignoring her voice, I kept punching him all over. His jaw, his nose, his neck. I punched him as much as I can.

"Jason that's enough!" Nate screamed. I felt two hands on my shoulders, pulling me back.

I was out of breath. I looked at Alex who was now squatting on the wall. He was in pain.

"Take a break. That's enough."

Madison squeezed me tight. I could see tears forming in her eyes. She closed her eyes and just hugged me.

Alex stood up and practically dragged himself up the stairs without saying a word.

I realized I have made a bad decision.
