Chapter 43

I'm back and ready to write! :) thanks for being so patient! I really appreciate that

Jason's POV

"Daniel wants you dead."

She looked down and frowned. I pulled her into a tight hug as we both stayed silent.

"I know. I had a feeling." She whispered.

I pulled back and looked into her eyes which were filled with fear.

"But I won't let that happen. You know why? Because I will protect you. I'll give my life up for you if there was a choice between yours or mine. I'll make sure that you stay alive. Ever since you entered into my life, I know that it will be hard for you because then you have to deal with all of this. You know, all my enemies, the fights, the traveling etc. But please just hang in with me." I looked into her eyes and held her hand tightly, locking our fingers together. She nodded.

"I'll never leave you Jason. But please, never leave me."

"I can't promise that babe. But I'll try."

"Don't scare me like that. I can't imagine having you dead."

"With a lifestyle like this, anything can happen. But for sure I'll keep us both alive. Okay?"

"Okay." He answered back.

"That's my girl."

Leaning towards her, I held her chin up so her lips touched mine. Her hands laid on my shoulders, pulling me closer.

Suddenly, the door opened and they stood Nate looking like he just saw a monster.

We pulled back and focused all our attention to him.

"Sorry to interrupt your little make out session, BUT DANIAL AND THEM ARE JUST OUTSIDE THE HOTEL!"

"WHAT THE FUCK?! HOW DID THEY FIND US!?" I screamed.

"NO IDEA! THEY MIGHT BE JUST CHECKING BUT WE HAVE TO HIDE OR ESCAPE!"

"We should........eacape?" I suggested.

"We would have to make a run for it if we get caught." Madison said.

"Right. So I guess we'll have to use the back exit or something.'

"Hurry lets go!" Nate said.

Everyone scurried out of the room. I reached into my pocket and locked the door.

The back door was located across the building but we had to sneak pass the lobby which will be the hardest part.

Nate was leading the way, I was in the middle and Madison was behind me. We all crouched down as soon as we saw the lobby.

"Shit. There's Daniel and them.' Madison whispered, pointing at the front door.

My eyes traveled to the lobby and my heart was beating faster when I saw them. They were awfully close to us.

We slowly made our way behind a plant.

"Should we run for it!"? Nate asked.

"No that'll bring too much attention. We should run when we're out of their sight."

He slightly nodded and we quietly walked to the hallway containing the back exit.

"Run! Run!" I said.

We were all running through the empty hallways. I was sprinting as hard as I canto get out of here.

I was relived that the exit came Ito y sight.

"Just a few more steps." I said to myself.

I pushed through the door and the cold air brushed my skin.

"We made it! Are you alright Madison?" I said out of breathed.

"Babe? Are you alright?" I asked.

No answers.

I looked behind me and Madison wasn't there.

"MADDIE!? NATE WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE!?" I yelled

"I DON'T KNOW. YOU GO BACK!

"IM SUCH A FUCKING IDIOT! I PROMISED I WOULD PROTECT HER! UGH FUCK ME."

I ran inside again, retracing my steps. my heart was beating faster and my hands were sweating.

Why did I let this happen!? I am such an idiot.

"Madison!?"

I reached the hallway and saw that Daniel wasn't there.

My eyes started to sting a little bit. I was breathing heavily. I ran outside to the front of the hotel and saw a car, speeding away.

Could that be them!? I squinted and saw 3 guys and 1 girl. Oh my god. It was them.

I ran towards the parking lot, finding our car. I unlocked the doors and went in, immediately starting the engine. As soon as I got my seatbelt on, I sped away, following that car.

No Nate as backup. No weapons except a gun with 2 bullets. I was all alone and minutes later, tears started to roll down my cheek.

"I promised."

Okay so I started this new fanfiction and...I'm not sure if I should post it or not. It's a one shot/ short story I guess. I'm working on it so I'm not sure if I'm going to post it. 

I will put forever off hold in about 1 or 2 weeks! :) A LOT of people are waiting for me to update.
