-------------------------------------------------------------

Today was a Friday, also more known as my off day. Although, having this off day was rather a waste of time on my part. I must find out more information about Tokyo Manji Gang & all the other gangs that are involved. I need to know more...to ensure my sister's safety.

My boss told me to take a break, but I shrugged it off. No way am I leaving this alone- my sister is in danger in every timeline! I must save her! I must help her to the very best of my ability!

"Naoto, didn't your boss tell you to take a break?"

A familiar voice suddenly appeared right beside me.

"Ah, Haya-san, good morning sleeping beauty."

I teased her a bit. Haya Hanemiya, younger sister of Kazutora Hanemiya- the one who killed Sano Shinichiro. Haya is currently staying with me since she insisted on doing so. That and because she simply didn't want to be a third wheel in Chifuyu's and Kazutora-san's shared apartment. Talk about being single at 24, pft.

"Tch, good morning to you too, Mr. Workaholic~"

Haya bit back as she messed up my hair.

"Ok, could you not mess up my hair, Ms ex-queen of White Tigers."

Right, I forgot to mention one thing, Haya Hanemiya was the leader- or more known as the Queen, of White Tigers, 10 years ago. Yes, she was the queen of White Tigers at the age of 14. The first youngest gang leader in the whole of Japan- not to mention that she was the second female gang leader in the area. White Tigers mainly rule the entire of Yokohama streets- alongside Tenjiku at the time. Though, from what Haya told me, she wasn't the first leader. In fact, she was leading the 3rd Gen White Tigers. She didn't tell me who their first leader was, which I have no idea why she'd keep that a secret even after she decided that the White Tigers were to go on a hiatus. All we- Takemichi, Chifuyu & all know, is that Haya was quite close to the White Tigers previous leader.

"Hey, mind you, my members still keep in contact with me. Besides, White Tigers are on a hiatus, NOT disbanded, Nao..."

She took a chair and sat beside me as she placed her head on my shoulder. My face softened as her tone of voice faltered. She must miss her gang...well, can't blame her, her gang are basically like family. Sometimes, I kind of feel bad for the things that I have to do sooner or later. It's a part of my job. Although, I'm prolonging my time spent with Haya for some reason. I'm supposed to arrest her due to her being the leader & other things she had done back then but, somehow, I didn't want to. She was one of the closest friends I ever had in my life.

"Say, we should go out today! Let's give your little detective brain a rest. You really need it anyways; you have been busy with this case & well, it's been a while since we've hung out so..."

Now that she's mentioned it, yeah, it has been a while since we ever properly hang out. The last time we did, I had to cut it short due to the fact that I was called back to work. Thankfully, Haya was understanding enough but I do feel bad to leave her like that. Not only that, I was simply too invested in my work to the point where I barely ate much.
