FIONA
Lip, Debbie and I waited for Ian. We sat in a secure waiting room, excited to see him. Within 15 minutes, Ian was walking toward us, in his normal clothes, his hands cuffed and an officer walking behind him. They stopped in front of us, undoing his cuffs to let him go free.
"If Ian commits any crime whatsoever, he will be immediately arrested and sent to jail." The officer stared blankly at me and my family.
"Even though he's clinically Bipolar?" Lip asked, confused.
"Yes." The officer spoke before turning away. Debbie hugged Ian first, then Lip, then me.
"Time to go home." I smiled, Ian hopping into the car.
"C- Can I go see Mickey?" Ian asked.
"Tomorrow. For today, we're getting you home, safe and sound, and we're making sure that you take the first round of medication." I smiled at Ian, who looked like he was about to pass out.

IAN
Today was the day I got to see Mickey in hospital. Getting downstairs to the kitchen, Fiona watched as I took my required medication, before she put me in her car and took me to the hospital. When we got there, I walked up to the receptionist, Fiona following me.
"Hi. I'm here to see Mickey Milkovich?" I asked, the lady looking up his name.
"Your name and relation to patient?" She asked.
"Ian Gallagher, roommate." I smiled, Fiona holding my hand for support.
"And you?" The lady looked at Fiona.
"I'm Ian's guardian." Fiona replied, before the receptionist kept typing.
"Room 235." She answered, sending us away.
I walked to Mickey's room, Fiona waiting outside. I closed the door, but opened the window so Fiona could keep an eye out for me.
"Mickey?" I said his name, hoping he was awake.
"Hey, Gallagher. How you doing?" Mickey asked, opening his eyes.
"I uh, got arrested." I sat on a nearby chair.
"Oh shit, really? What did they charge you for?" Mickey asked, shocked.
"I got charged for assault with a deadly weapon and then the military got involved, so I also got charged with falsifying a federal document 'cause I enlisted in the army as Phillip Gallagher and destruction of federal property...but because I'm clinically Bipolar, they let me go." I looked away.
"Shit, you're really Bipolar? Are you okay?" Mickey went to hold my hand, but I stopped him.
"Fiona's right outside and she doesn't know." I reminded him.
"But yes...I'm okay. I have to take medication every day and I'm being monitored almost constantly by Fiona and or Lip. And as for being arrested, if I commit any crime whatsoever, I will be immediately arrested and sent to jail. Even though I'm Bipolar." I explained to Mickey, who seemed genuinely worried about me.
"What about you? How have you been since your dad shot you?" I asked, Mickey exhaling.
"I've been in and out of sleep due to the pain meds they've been givin' me. Apparently there's an armed police officer standing outside my dad's room." Mickey smirked.
"Yeah. The police said that once your dad is healed and released from hospital, they're going to arrest him for the same charge that I was; assault with a deadly weapon." I informed him.
"Shit. Motherfucker gets what he deserves." Mickey smiled, happy to hear that his dad would be arrested.
"I'm so sorry...about shooting your dad." I apologised, Mickey smiling at me.
"Don't apologise. You did what I would've done if he hadn't shot me. Besides, I think it was sweet of you to defend me by shooting my homophobic asshole of a father." Mickey smiled.
I wanted so desperately to kiss Mickey, but 1. I didn't think that Mickey would be in the mood to be all sweet with me and 2. Fiona was right outside, watching me and Mickey through the window.
"Do you know when you'll be released?" I asked, Mickey sighing.
"According to the doctors, I should be going home in about a week, two at most. I'll be in a wheelchair, then crutches." Mickey smiled.
"Well, if you want, you can continue to stay at my place. You know Fiona and I can take care of you." I smiled, Mickey looking away.
"Actually, since my father will be gone for who knows how long, I figured that maybe you'd want to stay with me at my place? Mandy won't be around as often which leaves the house all to you and me?" Mickey offered.
"I'd have to talk to Fiona about it, and you'd possibly have to take care of me...mostly with the medication I have to take, but yeah. I'd love that." I leaned closer, secretly holding hands with Mickey so Fiona couldn't see.
